Are you serious? Trying? You think Golden was telling him "we have one guy commuted and one guy trying to reclassify" no knowing the salesman he is he said something like "hey we are looking for two backs in this class and taking in 1 or two next year" you guys are fools if you believe Cronkrite knows the ins and outs of mark Walton's recruitment. Golden tells these guys what they want to hear had guys like terry McCray saying he could have some early play time. And as we can see he is well on his way to a redshirt season

Will token, Mad Sed, and Cronkrite hold the other coaches to the same standard they hold Golden? Will they record every conversation and make sure that those coaches never recruit another RB? All the other coaches out there at big time programs always tell recruits the absolute truth about everything don't they?

Life lesson: College coaching is a GIGANTIC fcking business full of sharks. They're all trying like **** to protect their monster salaries, and they're all going to try to upgrade their rosters every chance they get.

You think if Cronkrite commits to WVU or some other school that if Scarlett or Walton or any other great RB all of a sudden decides he wants to go to WVU too that Holgorsen's going to say, "Nah. I don't think we can take you because we're only going to take Cronkrite." Wake the fck up if you believe that ****. You think Irvin Meyers is going to start turning away great players if Cronkrite shows up there? Yeah. Sure.

Yeah this is 100% fact. I can understand the whole thing that there are concerns that the staff doesnt have a good track record with developing talent at Miami, but this whole trust thing pure BS. This would not be the first nor last time something this will have occurred. The other part that is confusing is this whole angle of doing what is best for the kid's situation from a depth chart perspective. I dont know if Jordan has been paying attention but we have kinda been left with our **** in the dirt when it comes to RB recruiting the last two cycles. Collins, Michel and Cook are elsewhere, we got Yearby that was it. We dont have a loaded backfield right now, if anything if Jordan looked at it objectively we need 3 top tier backs in this class. We just never expected to have 3 RBs of the caliber to fall in our laps like this, and it would be stupid on the staff's part to say no to that.

I would also be willing to bet Al and Co. Are playing it far more straight with a local kid than if he was from out of state.

Unfortunately, Cronkrite is being fed a pile of **** by the adults around him. Shame on them. The dude started out as Mr. Hurricane. Couldn't wait to commit. Was super excited. And now with all the adults poisoning the pond, he's suddenly paranoid about everything UM.

Sad thing is that the coaches can't give their side of any of these twisted, slanted stories. So, we're stuck with the side we get from those trying to pollute kids against UM. What a fcking cesspool this S. FL recruiting scene has become.

So miami doesn't develop RBs? Mike James? Miller? Duke? **** even Crawford came in and did his thing…how that is even a valid claim is beyond me. Sounds more like a guy throwing $**t on the wall and hoping something sticks to get a kid to seek shelter elsewhere. What RB has Meyer developed at Utah, UF and OSU?

Agreed. Token is full of **** as well.

How am I full of anything when all I did was tell you what was being said to him? I want him at Miami so for someone to say I'm involved in steering him anyway is an idiot. You guys take a kid reassessing his situation to make sure it's the best decision for him personally and the only reason why he is rethinking anything is because of the staff and the 3-4 different stories being sold to him.

This kids heart is in Miami and that's where he wants to be but this decision is not made with the heart and for anyone to think otherwise is just not being logical.

Let me clear something up, Token, my post wasn't directed at you. It was directed towards the argument being made by someone in Cronk's ear about the school not developing RBs. The info being brought is appreciated, keep it up.

he seems to be a good kid. He is patient and letting everything work itself out. I suggest some on this board do the same. Again, He's a kid.
Obviously he wants to be a Cane.
Most of all, I hope he makes a decision that benefits him.

What stories is he being feed. Lets see if I can get all the stories straight "we are LOOKING to take 2 RBs. You have a shot at playing time right away." I'm sure the coaches wanted at least 2 RBs, and if he comes in and balls then he will get playing time. I dont know a single coach that would sit a kid that is balling no matter what year he is.

If you wanted to be a cane then be a cane and work your *** off for your playing time, stop looking for a place thats only taking a certain amount of RBs so you have less to compete with.

Couldn't have said this better but being on here long enough I know ppl won't take it easy on him. This is one of the situations where I feel bad for the kid because politics are interfering with his decision

Now its the staff and their lies not the people in his ear telling him not to trust the staff and they will play favorites.

Or did the staff tell him that they would give Scarlett and Walton the 1st shot over Cronk?

No one would have a problem with it but it seems like him and his people give interviews every few days how he doesn't trust the staff. Look around, be quiet about it and there isn't a problem.

Also, what politics are interfering with his decisions?

Politics of others around him. It should be his choice with some opinions but shouldn't be about stressing him which is what it seems. He has time till NSD to take the visits and do it all but it looks like he's getting pressured now

Im sure someone has brought this up before, but if this guy was really concerned about his future, given that he's a RB, he should be happy that there are others to share the load with him at this level.

Being on football's version of 'pitch count' is actually looked upon favorably at the next level coming in...

Yes I did and it's something he should value high in his decision.

"Crazy thing is the playing span for a RB these days isn't long, and it's made shorter by getting the tread worn down on he tires from a lot of wear and tear. I want my kid to go somewhere where he plays on natural grass as home field, and he doesn't get a ton of carriers to wear him down.

Also a school
With a good education so he has a good degree to fall back on.
I also wouldn't want my kid to go too far away from home where i would have to fly to a lot of games."
