Taking a JUCO OL going into year 5 simply because of poor roster management and failed evaluations

I would agree with LB and DL, but who on the OL has failed? I think this is one of the position groups this staff has done with well with.

2014 - McDermott, Darling and Linder
2013 - Odogwu, Gall and Knighton
2012 - Flowers, Isidoria and Gadbios
2011 - Wells

Wells, Knighton? Odogwu?

I think this is a good pick up since he has 4 years to play 3. If he is ready to play next year then he will provide depth, if not he can still redshirt and play as a RS Soph in 2016.

Assuming Flowers leaves; here is what we have coming back in 2015:

RS SR (1)
Wells

RS JR (2)
Gadbois, Isidora

JR (1)
Gall

RS SO (2)
Odogwu, Knighton

SO (2)
Darling, Linder

RS FR (3)
K.C. McDermott, Brown, Grimsley

2015: Mahoney, Gauthier, St. Louis, Milo, Loftus, Jones

Starters in bold (Started at least 1 game in career)

We have 6 guys coming back who should be in the 2 deep (Isadora, Linder, Gadbois, Darling, Gall, McDermott). The other guys are all unproven and will battle for the backup spots along with the 6 newcomers. Jones is older and should be more physically ready to play so he could provide depth for next year this could allow a true freshmen to redshirt. Remember due to injuries we were unable to redshirt any of the freshemen OL this year, except for KC who may get a medical redshirt. Not sure how much Grimsley and Brown will provide but definitely not counting on them.

all of the highlighted look like bust (Gall has been hurt but I think he might bounce back but we'll see).

thats 4 of 10 not contributing at all and 2 whole wasted years 2011 and 2013 (so far). I wouldn't consider 6 playable lineman in 4 years good at all

2014 - Taking Tyler Grimsley and Joe brown Post-NSD because we couldn't hold onto gibbons and didn't have enough bodies at OL due to poor roster management. McDermott Linder and darling are all great players. Our coaches know of grimsley and brown's shortcomings they are basically on the Hunter Wells path here and are just going to be practice bodies. Due to the poor roster management in 2013 and 2014 we have to take a JUCO olinemen and 4 high school kids while still hardly pursuing a 5th high school offensive lineman.

2013 - Still pretty early, but on an heavily injured plagued line this year none of these guys were substantial contributors. Probably going to go 1/3 or 0/3 here. Playing the recruiting game with Denver Kirkland hurt us here when we needed him. This class needed to pan out due to the amount of upperclassmen OLine that would be on the roster next year.

2012 - Taking only three offensive linemen while taking 6 corner backs? Gadbois is solid and flowers has done a great job

What is our % out DT? Makes you want to gauge your stomach with a rusty penknife watching ALbortion.

Not including whichever low-rated QB with no offers we're able to bring into this class over the next few weeks to fill Lawson's spot, we will have 2 QBs on scholarship heading into Golden's fifth year at Miami.

There's nothing more appalling in that previous sentence than Golden getting a completely undeserved fifth year here. But coming in a distant second is the fact that, as of right now, we'll have 2 QBs on scholarship in 2015. 2. F***ing 2.

That's laughably horrific roster mismanagement.

Feels like Shannon all over.

Jacory went down and we were down to Whipple and Morris.

It's disturbing how similar these two bozos are.

If ALbortion loses the bowl game, same darn record.
