2015 Class: 22 commits so far...

This is a "complimentary" class where you take care of housekeeping in between the 2014 and 2016 headliners. You need some guts and bones.

Can look at it that way but also a class that we have to build depth in certain areas OL,LB,HB,DT, etc..

Ben Edwards, four * safety out of Trinity In Jacksonville just decommitted from Auburn. Any reason why we havnt offered him? Looks like great talent.

Because we are already after JJ, Irvin, and SBB on a limited # of Scholarships.

Updating this after Jaquan's commitment.

2015 Class: 23 commits so far...

Commits:

QB: Dwayne Lawson
RB: Dexter Williams, Jordan Cronkrite, Mark Walton, Jordan Scarlett
WR: Emonee Spence, Therrell Gosier, Terrell Chatman
TE: Bowman Archibald
OT: Hayden Mahoney, Tyler Gauthier, Geron Christian, Tyree St. Louis, Brendan Loftus
OG: Leeward Brown
DT: Ryan Fines
DE: Scott Patchan, Jamie Gordinier, Richard McIntosh
OLB: Charles Perry, Claude George
S: Jaquan Johnson
K: Drew Galitz

Here's a couple questions for everyone...

Outside of the RB group and Jaquan Johnson, pick 3 current commits you're the most bullish on and hope we're able to keep?

Terrell Chatman - I've been a broken record when it comes to Chatman, but I think he's a stud with freaky leaping ability, impressive body control and athleticism for his size, and nice ball skills. I expect him to have a big year and I really hope he sticks.

Charles Perry - Stud LB who's been committed since June 2013. He's stayed loyal, even after receiving a bunch of big-time offers (including Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State) and experiencing the abrupt resignation of his position coach/primary recruiter.

Tyree St. Louis - The best of the current OL commits with the physical tools to develop into a future starter at OT.

Other than the obvious answers of DT and CB, what is the most glaring hole that still needs to be addressed?

OL or LB. I really like St. Louis and Perry, but besides those two there's a lot of quantity at those spots and not enough top-end quality. Merrick and Milo are must-gets. I doubt we land Coney, but he'd be a huge pull.

Good questions...

1) Ryan Fines - I think he will be this years "Courtel Jenkins". Remember, nobody but Paranos was high on Jenkins when he committed. After the season he blows up and now people are saying he has that Jerome Brown type ability and attitude in him and buddy might be in our 3 deep at NG when he was a lock to RS!

Therrell Gosier - I actually think he will be the odd man out when its all said and done but I think that will be a mistake. I am going to see him this friday when Ely plays Coconut Creek so I will give yall a full rundown. But this guy looks the part of a future beast.

Claude George - He is the perfect 3-4 OLB for our system. PERFECT. He could be a big time toy for Dno and this 3-4 defense. Hope he sticks.

2) If Mr. Quarterman wasnt on his way in two years, I would say MLB because Juwon Young cant hold it down by himself. So with that said, I will agree that QUALITY OL is a problem. Alot of projects on that list. Reminds me of the days of Jonathan St Pierre, Matt Pipho, and Anthony Woslaufhger (sp?..the OL from STA)..

Alot of guys that need time to groom that are currently committed. Not enough quick fix guys. I dont mind taking 2 projects but the other 3 need to have ready for war by their 2nd year. Or you will look up and you will have a team full of Sonny Ogdawu (sorry if I spelled his name wrong)..He looks the part of a beast but he also looks like he needs another year or two to development and hes already in his second year..Smh.

Chatman
McIntosh because of his potential of becoming a DT.
Charles Perrry

Honorable mention Galitz, need a good kicker.

The other question is obviously OL and LB.

If It was up to me Spence, Gosier, Gauthier, Christian, and Loftus would not be in this class. They are not Miami caliber players IMO.
Take them out along with mark Walton because he will be 2016, then add peete, Merrick, Milo, Jaason Lewis, Irvin, Cole, Devante Davis, and Hopefully Rasheem Green (would be the biggest commit of the class). And that would put us at like 24. Then we obviously have a spot for Ridley, SBB, and another DT/CB..

We need Corners, DT's and LB's.

Kthnxbye.

We need 3-4 DEs as much or more then NTs. Otherwise I agree completely.

Think there will be a lot of movement within the class before NSD. We will end up with a really good class if the product on the field is good.
