2015 Class: 22 commits so far...

This RB haul is an A+ if we hang onto both. Landing Williams and Cronkrite is exactly what I wanted to happen at RB. Couldn't realistically ask for anything better there.

The rest of the class, though...

Having only three defensive commitments at this point seems pretty odd, right?

Having only two defensive commitments at this point seems pretty odd, right? And only one of them (Perry) is worth getting excited about, IMO.

I agree with everything but I'll have to add patchan, he is a player.

Completely forgot about him, my bad.

Hurlie Brown, having filled the two RB spots with elite studs in Williams and Cronkrite, can look at the rest of the staff at this point like...

We entered the top 10 on 247 today

(not that rankings in april really matter, just cool to see how we're doing to the rest of the country)

With Bama taking Ridley, I think devantee peete becomes a priority

They're completely different wrs.Peete is a big possesion type while Ridley is a spped demon. We have plenty of big wrs with Brady, langham and Spence but need to add more speed at the possiton with Dorset leaving Coley's the only burner there for us.

Dexter Williams is who i am excited about.

At this point in time i would say he is also the guy that makes the biggest impact. Providing he gets in as an EE. RB is the easiest transition to any level. Just the pass blocking assignments need to be a priority by them, but i believe he will come through, and jump up to at least 2nd on the depth chart. If Duke does leave for the league.

The other positions, have guys ahead of them, and require a lot more for a young buck to step into. We have thinned out the weak, and have solid players in key roles now.

Now, if Irvin commits to us. I think he will have the biggest impact of everyone. What he would bring as a return man, can not be ignored. This guy makes effortless moves, that only a few can claim fame too.

From what I have seen, you got to like Williams north/south running. He seems to have a little of Duke's vision. With Joe on deck and whoever else pulls ahead behind Duke, these two guys make a heck of a RB stable. Have to wait to see how they pass block. These two make me feel a little better about this class. We missed on a couple RB the last two years. so Joe looks a little lonely back there if Duke goes early. Good to address that early. Class still has way to go. A bunch of 3*s, two many I think. Does seem that top schools like Bama have higher ratio of 4*s. I don't mind the 3's. staff has shown it can spot some guys early, but that does not seem to be true of the majority.

@SBNRecruiting: 5* Alabama commit Minkah Fitzpatrick says he is solid to the Tide but that there's a 45% chance he'll take official visits to FSU, Miami.

Charles Perry for both. I don't see any impact players on that list yet. I think Perry will develop into a nice player for us though.

I don't understand how u ppl are so blind to talent!! How can u look at this list with Cronkite and dexter Williams both on it and say it has no playmakers. At a minimum those two right there are play makers and no one can deny that. And I have not watched any film on quentez Johnson but if he wasn't a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball then he would not have offers from the likes of LSU and Bama and FSU and us! So plz stop with this no playmaker bull ****. Go canes!

My favorite is Dexter Williams. Immediate impact: Dexter Williams.

Solid start. But in recruiting, its how you close.
