2015 ATH Javarius Davis

Ill take him in a heartbeat! Our special teams was garbaaaageeee this year! Roll out the red carpet this weekend.

Yeah I am in J-ville kid is a baller .. would be a nice addition.. not a camp circuit guy so his rivals/espn rating (for those into that stuff) will be way off.

I would take him. Javarius Davis is one of the fastest prospects in the nation (10.4 100m) who happens to also be a good football player and not just a decent player who is only recognized for his speed. He would help right away as a dangerous KOR similar to what FSU did with Kermit and Georgia did with Mckenzie. He can also play on either side of the ball. We definitely need to add speed to this roster, their is no way a team should ever have more speed than us but over the years teams have surprisingly. Hope the staff know what this guy can bring to the table and hope he ends up a cane.

247 lists him as a RB not ATH, but you say he can play both sides? I hope because he seems like a solid player. Just hope he would be willing to move to DB or even WR though. As long as we maintain Scarlett, Williams, and Walton we have a stud backfield for the next several years. Yearby and Trayone Gray as soph. and then those 3 as freshman.. expect 1 of them to RS.

Yes he can play multiple positions. Depending on the school, some are recruiting him as a DB, some as a RB. His brother played DE at Georgia so they are a team to watch but I am not sure how serious his offer there is. Regardless I would take this guy or Jalen Julius but not both. If Julius meant keeping Williams than we should take him.

If we are able to. I would take both Davis and Julius as they can play multiple positions. WR, DB or on return teams. Versatility is a key there. Especially since our CB targets not looking so hot for us.

**** Jacksonville. Why even bother going north of Orlando for skill players? ****, why leave SoFla for a 5'8"-5'9" ATH?

Ronnie Hoggins- No offer
Jalen Julius- No offer

**** you Al.

Do you think we eventually offer Julius?

I think we should. Idk what the staff is waiting for. He would jump on it in a split second.

Javarius Davis supposedly is a long time canes fan according to an article by SBNation.

There is also some tibits on the two JUCO's visiting this weekend.

Go Canes

"Last but not least on the visit list for this week is 3-star ATH Javarius Davis. A player who excels on both sides of the ball in high school, Davis is being recruited at CB by Miami. Davis is a bit undersized at 5'9.5", but has blazing speed, something which few of our DBs currently possess. There's talk that he is a longtime Canes fan and could commit this weekend if he enjoys his visit."

So, is Ronnie Hoggins a criminal or completely failing high school? Because I can't understand a single other reason for why he isn't being offered.
