2015 ATH Javarius Davis

If we are able to. I would take both Davis and Julius as they can play multiple positions. WR, DB or on return teams. Versatility is a key there. Especially since our CB targets not looking so hot for us.

Do you think we eventually offer Julius?

I think we should. Idk what the staff is waiting for. He would jump on it in a split second.

Staff most likely questions Julius's catching abilities and route running skills because all of highlights are hand offs or fielding punts/kick offs. An Julius has made it clear he wants to play WR, yet his highlights lack WR impact moments an even on his high school team he was the 4th receiving option despite his speed. Were as Antonino Callaway from BTW has good hand and good speed as does WR Richie Cooper. Not to mention all those 2016 WR's that have similar abilities to Julian, but 2016 is long ways away and with UM's current turmoil it may be better to go with the bird in the hand over what's in the bush.

This reminds of Chris Dunkley fom Pahokee who was an all world electric performer once the ball was in his hands but the young man had stone hands when it came to catching, which is why he is now playing DB at USF as a 5th year senior after having been through 2 universities and a JUCO.

If UM had a very good Technician type WR Coach then UM could roll the dice on being able to coach up Julius as a WR.

Well Kevin Beard is on staff, so im pretty sure he is lending a hand with the WRs...

Kevin Beard is in football operations it is a NCAA violation for him to lend a hand in anyway in the techinical coaching of players

Go Canes

Davis will be here tomorrow... I like him a lot. Super dynamic player, instant starter on special teams as a returner and would be a Excellent corner!!! Fingers crossed...!

We need this kid. Reminds of of coley but little smaller height, but little more physical. I see corn also.

Davis reminds me a bit of JC Jackson. Electric playmaker from up north who plays both ways and has always been a cane fan.

Love Davis and his speed, but Jax pulls are VERY tough. That's all gator country there.
