Mayes just need a redshirt year and some UTough. I know he is not the most physical kid but this staff will fix that. If I'm not mistaken some had the same concerns about Deon. I also believe that Larry Hope will be moved to safety by the spring.

Have not bothered to look up your past posts on Morris.

However I will tell you that his arm will be missed. MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT.

That arm keeps the safeties back which in turn opens up the running game.

That arm is also capable of beating you deep even when the other team knows it is coming (ask NC STATE last year).

That arm has finally have some touch to it as well (something that was sorely lacking).

Stephen seems to be well liked and is a leader (not sure that Williams has the same leadership skills).

In no way can we put Williams in the same sentence than Morris

IMO 2013 has a better chance of winning it all than 2014 (QB is where it all starts on offense and Williams is unproven still)

My position on Morris has been wll established here the past year or so. Im not gonna go into it all over again for about the 4th time. If your interested in specifics you can look it up. There are many facts and opinions. Shouldn't be too hard to find

When he committed the staff told him they wanted him at corner.

I'm not sure if it'll be hope, but I expect one of the corners to move over during spring.

I'm sure just like everyone else you thought the DT position was weak coming into this year. Have we not learned anything yet? This staff will develop Earl and also find a few guys who will be ready to step in and perform. Everyone said Renfrow was a JAG, how could we expect anything from a guy who couldn't even start for Virgina LOL.

This staff has shortened the rotation so we are only playing 2 deep at DT now. If this continues we already have the replacements, Hamilton will be 6-5 295-300 by next season and take Robinson spot. Earl will replace Porter and JUCO Stuckey will replace Renfrow.

2014 will be the first season since 06 that true freshman are not making the two deep because they are the only option. The only way a true freshman cracks the two deep next season is because he is just flat out better than the guys ahead of him.

First of all Morris played as a true freshman in 2010 which had nothing to do with Golden. Second of all Jacory and Stephen were the only QB's going to play in 2011 regardless of suspension so Stephen was never going to get a shirt due to **** poor roster management by Randy. If wasn't the suspension then it would have been when Jacory got leveled against UVA and Stephen had to step in.
