We need at least 4 linebackers in this class. I like the fact that this kid can cover, I would love to see him in this class.

In today's game you need backers that can cover. Looks like this kid has a good sized frame too.

Just watched the Hudl film on this guy. Interesting player. Fluid, very few false steps. Not overly explosive but definitely has great movement skills. His coaches speak highly of his character.

Barrow saw him up-close and felt his frame had enough room to grow, so that's reassuring. Ramon Buchanan's career left me a bit suspicious of these type of guys. I thought Buchanan would be special, but he probably should have stayed at safety.

Buchanon would have stared as a Rover in a defense similar to something the Sooners run.

OP/Jax area is normally Gaytor country , maybe we change our luck in those parts.

After finally being able to see his highlight I am very impressed with this recruit.

i actually think he could play safety for UM, at least see how he looks. He turns and runs real well and looks very good in space.... His build is similar to an Alec Ogletree but he looks like he has more speed.

The way Miami's recruiting class is looking with the safety position, it might be a good idea to recruit him as a possible safety. He definitely looks faster then Ray Ray and Vaughn Telemaque.

Hes already moved to OLB full time for his high school. He will also get more LB work in spring ball.

Its all good with me.... i just think he could bring a different dynamic back there at the safety position.

But Owens looks like he's going to be a big time playmaker for UM at LB so i'm excited about it nevertheless.

Enough already with the LB-to-safety, DE-to-LB, safety-to-CB crap. That´s the Randy Shannon way. The opposite of what made us great.
