I got to go with Powell never been a big fan of that berrios kid I think hes maxed out as far as a football player.. Powell is bigger faster strongerand he plays against better talent down here in south Florida...

you sure about that? Berrios posted a top 5 SPARQ score at the Opening. Don't think Powell is a better athlete than Berrios, but he's white, so I guess he's easily dismissed

Id take both. Powell is an athlete and can be used anywhere especially with Berrios added on you have the ability to decide for him just like with Corn.
 
Powell would be a nice change of pace/scat back ,5'9 170-175 now . He can be 185 by the time he steps on campus.

Yeah you're 100% correct. The board doesn't know what they are talking about. That's only why he came down to South Florida and Dennis Turner + Rashard Causey were giving him praise for the performance he put on at the Golden camp. South Florida is rich of talent but that's not the only place where good football players can be found.

haha yea they said he was good in shorts and tshirt in a 7 on 7 setting big deal there are plenty of football players who look amazing in shorts and a t berrios film isnt that impressive
 
So from what I gather:

1. No good players come from anywhere other than South Florida, so Berrios can't be good
2. He's white, so he obviously can't be good
3. A lot of posters must live in North Carolina and have seen him play
4. Laser timed 40s aren't worth as much as a kids time he tells scout/rivals etc.
5. He didn't tear up every camp he's been to, including ours, with lots of South Florida athletes there
6. He doesn't have offers from other major programs

Did I miss any other FACTS?

I am just saying you can't knock Berrios for not being athletic.

The kid went out to Oregon and went up against the BEST athletes from all over the country and was at the top of list in terms of testing/athletic ability.

no, but I'd like him to be in the class. You stated Powell is a better athlete, and that isn't true.

He tested better than Powell and did better in our camp than Powell did. That's enough for me

So did top athletes at the Opening and guess what? Berrios killed it there like he killed it in the camp down here against LOCAL talent. Ill listen to you tho he can't play

I have said before that I dont think it is between Powell and Berrios. I think its between Jojo and Berrios. I think Powells commitment would tell us all we need to know about Dalvin Cook and whether the staff feels confident they can flip him.

Exactly, Powell to me is this years Corn Elder who can play many positions but let's be real the Berrios haters see his small size and want him in the slot. I think Powell can play rb especially if he can gain more weight to let's say 190 which is very possible and still be a threat out of the backfield. As far as Berrios and Jojo I think it's always been between them and the longer it goes the more I think Jojo is sticking to FSU and we get Berrios so we're good regardless
 
Berrios is a high motor guy. Berrios is a very heady player and having him would be like having a coach on the field.
