he looks like a player...but idk if were gonna have enough room with so few schollys we are expected to have...

fits what Golden is looking for. A talented kid who wants to be a cane. His twitter bio already says the university of miami. I think he ends up in this class as an ATH and they figure out where to put him once he gets here.

Heard this kid has off the field issues and character concerns. If we are going to take a headcase at WR, it might as well be Stacey Coley who just happens to be a far better talent than this kid.

I keep thinking Coley is a pipe dream....until I remember 60 days ago Tracy Howard was...

Why do coaches lie and put 4.3 40 on his tape at the beginning. It's so misleading when the kid didn't run anything close to that.

Yeah its almost meaningless anymore. It says 4.34, then another time has 4.57 or something like that, then times 4.74 at the combine. Obviously 40 times arent the end all be all but thats not a good time.

Well he's started HS at Tampa Bay Tech as a Freshman and then spent his Sophmore and JR years at Middleton, where he transferred. Right before his junior season he withdrew himself from Middleton and tried to enroll himself back at Tech. His mom found out and killed that idea. At Middleton though he was the offense. They went 0-10 and was real bad at doing it.

He finally did withdraw from Middleton (second semester) and is going to Tech. No idea on the reason behind the transfers or anything. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that at Tech's former head coach ran a run heavy offense and didn't run the ball. Think Maurice Hagens. Maybe a change of venue will do him some good.

kid is extremely high onum...along with his buddy Travis Johnson a 6'4 guy out of tampa....think if we recruit both their shoe ins.

Benamin has put on alot of weight....someone said he is pushing 200 and its true....probably the reason for the slower 40 but he still can play.

Miami is out... I didn't see Miami taking a WR unless its an elite prospect this year anyway.

A list that started with 40 plus verbal offers, was chopped down to 10 about a month ago. Now the short list of ten has been slimmed down to the final five. Clemson, Vanderbilt, Central Florida, South Florida and Auburn have made the cut. Benjamin recently visited Central Florida, Clemson and Auburn coming away very high on each program. Benjamin is the #10 ranked player overall in our coverage area.

Things that make you go hmm...

IMO, it lends a little credence to the rumors of the kid's attitude.

Vanderbilt is a **** of a school, the SEC's version of Wake Forest. Academically not even close with those other schools listed. Besides that, NEXT!!!
