2001 Uniform Unveiling This Year

For all the chest pounding, alpha male energy around here, this place sure does turn into an episode of Project Runway in a hurry whenever the uniforms come up.

I never have opinions about the details beyond the basic color combinations. All the whining about trim and accents is just weird.

My big picture is this

1) Camo is ugly

2) Use green more often

3) White over white is boring

While I am ranting, I do not understand the fascination with "Storm Troopers". Aside from being boring, the stormtroopers are the bad guys. Literally the fascists in the Star Wars Universe. Not only that, they are the worst soldiers ever. Can't hit the broad side of a barn but go down at the least little tap. They suck and aren't what I want my team to be associated with.

But that is just me.
I agree with points 1 and 2 but you lost me at 3 and you're about to get my inner star wars nerd raging with your last comment.

It’ll be announced within the next week and used for Pitt. 😂

Again, 25% of the season has passed us by.

And by the time it's announced, available for order, and actually delivered to my house, at best 33% of the season will be gone. Maybe 42% of the season.

No thanks. I've got two Mitchell & Ness jerseys, so I will NOT be ordering any 2001 jerseys from adidas. But I appreciate the consideration of adidas, to allow me to build up an extra few weeks of salary in order to afford another jersey...

For most of the people on here saying these are terrible, i guarantee if you switched the logo to a swoosh instead of the 3 stripes and change nothing else, they would be drooling all over them.

If you switched the logo to a swoosh, then Nike would actually manufacture ACCURATE 2021 throwback jerseys.

whatever you say goober. I’m guessing when Nike released the Heats Vice jerseys 3 months into the 2018 season that was poor marketing management too?

You're a dope.

Pro sports leagues HAVE LONGER SEASONS. And the Vice jerseys were not commemorating A SPECIFIC 25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

Here's a simple lesson that I learned at NASCAR.

If you put a DATE on a t-shirt, you'd better sell all those t-shirts in one week. Because once the event is over, those shirts aren't worth a ****. We would have annual "$1 sales", where literally everything that we were trying to clear out of inventory was priced at $1. I bought a lot of "dated" t-shirts, I have boxes of them.

Here's a better idea. If you want Miami fans to purchase a 25-year anniversary jersey, PUT IT ON SALE IN THE SUMMER. Let the superfans buy it and wear it at the FAMU game. And let MORE FANS go to Fanatics to purchase the jersey in mid-September.

The Pitt game is in 5 weeks. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, it's smarter to announce, sell, and ship those jerseys in enough time for fans to wear them, you know, MORE THAN ONCE. By the time these jerseys are announced and shipped, our fans MIGHT have the chance to wear them to Hard Rock...for the Florida State game.

Brilliant. "Oh, the NBA does special edition jerseys beyond the season opener"...

Apples, meet oranges...

love ****ing off the Adidas warriors, they got to be melting down right now. Adidas always been hotdog water
you do realize it's just an apparel brand right? most of it made in the same places too
Yea but you got weirdos defending adidas and the sole reason was cause their favorite team wore adidas. They can’t be objective at all, I’m not targeting anyone cause idk who does that but I am sure someone does that. The same way weirdos act with phone brands, weird *** behavior fighting for corporations that don’t gaf about them. Now that they are back with Nike you know those same people will now agree that adidas was trash and Nike was better the whole time. And they couldn’t say that cause their favorite team wore it.

Me I like Nike but im cool if adidas was making good things, I wouldn’t care. How does that affect me? IMO Nike always had better quality things than adidas. Maybe that changes one day 🤷 idk
