We appear to finally have some fast, athletic baseball players on offense. And the opposite field swings/hitting has been impressive.

Announcers claimed it was a foul ball off his foot?
Could be. I thought I spotted a reaction from him on that play last night, but I did not watch with a complete focus and haven't had the volume on today as I am watching from a high school auditorium as a lovely event wraps up...

I legitimately have heard this every opening series for the past 10 years
You didn't from me - our hitters approach was terrible the last couple of years. Taking 1st pitch strike right down the middle, trying to pull everything, rarely executing w runners in scoring position and less than 2 outs, etc.

I’m trying not to overreact because niagra is putrid. Truly atrocious.

But I’ve been on this board from the start screaming about the lack of thoughtful roster construction of this baseball program for a decade plus. Just taking guys to take them because they were perfect game south Florida superstars.

This lineup/roster looks like there was a purpose in creating it and even though we might not have the talent to play with the big boys it’s a massive step in right direction for us to construct the roster with a purpose year in and year out
