I’m beginning to think ACC does not like it when one team is more talented, so they even the playing field with penalties. I swear half of the penalties called on us vs UL were not even shown on replay so they get away with whatever they want

They SHOULD mean something, though. They are played, and they count. Alabama shouldn't get a free pass just because it was early.

That being said, you are 100% correct about the outcome if they played today. We'd see the game all of us expected before the first game happened.

Bama gets no pass; but, Ty Simpson 1st yr & 1st game starter then is not the same Ty Simpson today. That’s what I truly meant. Sometimes early match ups or early games can look one way vs. what or how a team will look as time goes on. That’s y it’s premature to crown or trash any program after the first couple of games.

Now the bigger question, how do the coaches at Texas am, Indiana, and GT look with more or less talent using composite rankings.

Next week may be a battle. I really don't think we are that good and that we have been exposed. We have a very poor offense: lots of good players, but a poorly-functioning unit.
