1st Scrimmage of the Spring

Can somebody clue in Weldon to wash his hands thoroughly after he wipes his ***?

Also and never rub his eyes with his fingers after wiping.

Well Rosier is 23 years old and a fifth year kid with the same accuracy numbers as a Fr and a true fr. While having thousands of more snaps than those guys.

Yet he doesn’t look much better. That’s more pathetic Imo.

I’d much rather hand it to Jw or Kosi, than what I already know. Let them take their lumps but they’ll at least improve.
Don’t ever count on inaccurate passers to get accurate. Accuracy isn’t something that improves all that much at this level. Been warning you guys of that forever.

Yep, and we saw what happened to Rosier when we faced the better defenses on our schedule last year. I am firmly convinced that after leadership, accuracy is the most important QB trait, especially when you have the talent that we do at "skill" positions.

Qb play is horrible. Even more horrible is the combination of play calling and qb coaching around our offensive deficiencies.

I’m a firm believer in this , you’re either accurate or not. That’s just how it is in most cases.

I remember Mike Leach was asked what he looks for in a qb he said “only accuracy, you can’t teach that. Arm strength is useless without it.”

There’s the exception of the kid who hasn’t been coached , and has awful mechanics. Then fixes this and improves some.

Rosier is what he is. We’ll lose multiple games with him missing wide open guys and gimme throws.

If we didn’t have an unreal takeaway streak last year we’d been bitten more than just three times. But you can’t depend on takeaways yearly.

Yet another uninformed overreaction. Who knows what happened with such little information- you people are so predictable. Like children.
Actually cmr said oline play was horrible today. That oline was getting pushed around & beaten off snaps. Not defending all the over reacting but YOU also cant descredit what the head coach is telling you about how we performed. I think once the line is tinkered with a lil more well be fine. Qb is MY only concern.

This could explain me having pink eye for years, I rarely wipe but when I do I rotate wiping with rubbing my eyes.

geesh

can't cover the middle of the field

quarterbacks don't look any better

seen this story before

I don’t advocate panic or a rush to judgment on Perry and Rosier’s lack of accuracy. But it’s not like Diaz’s defense is known for stifling accuracy. Mediocre QBs put up some ridiculously accurate games against us last year.

If you’re not at least concerned about the ongoing inaccurate throwing of Rosier and Perry, then you’ve simply opted to stick your head in the sand.

Christ.

A moderator overreacting to the first scrimmage of the spring.

How about neither of them were good “this scrimmage”...and isn’t it too early to say N’Kosi “isn’t good”

Neither are good. Rosier's bad and Perry's worse as of right now. If you can't handle it, grow up. Has nothing to do with today.

I'm more worried about this gawd**** OL.

If we can get some damned protection and establish a reliable running game, we can get by with a mediocre Rosier or a streaky Perry. But this gawd**** OL needs to figure it out.

Accurate QBs are accurate from day one for the most part. Inaccurate QBs typically stay that way. It’s almost like foot speed. You don’t typically get much faster, and you don’t typically get much more accurate.

Jaworski always says accuracy is the number 1 important trait in a QB. And I agree. You leave so many points on the field when you can’t hit receivers. Guys get obsessed with big arms, but if you can’t thriw accurately you’re useless.

You’ll never get anywhere other than 10-3 with poor qb play regardless of the OL. Teams will load up to stop the run, and it won’t matter how good your OL is when 5 are trying to block 9 guys roaring down hill to stop the run. You need good QB play if you want to get anywhere.
