We've actually had a nice 1st round run the past 3 years, with 4 players drafted in the 1st round. For comparison's sake, FSU has had 3 players drafted in the 1st round over the last 3 years.

2015: Flowers and Dorsett
2016: Artie
2017: Njoku

Can anyone on our team make it 4 years in a row? IMO, it'd probably have to come from the defensive side of the football. On offense, the only one with an outside chance is Mark Walton, but while extremely talented, is disadvantaged in that he's a running back and there's some serious talent likely coming out next year (Shaquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Derrius Guice, etc).

On the defensive side of the ball, Delaney may have an outside chance, give that he's already received a draftable grade this past year, but he's currently rated the 10th best 2018 CB prospect, not including potential early deciders (next years juniors) and 1st round CB talent usually reveals itself by junior year. For example, 4 of the 5 CB's selected in the 1st round this year were Juniors. For me, it would have to come from one of our d-linemen, a position that benefits tremendously from additional years in college. I got:

(1) Chad Thomas
(2) Kendrick Norton
(3) RJ McIntosh

The obvious choices... Who ya got?

They got to ball out, nothing will be given and our players are being undervalued right now in the scouts eyes and it's a shame. Remember aroubd this time kaaya was a top 5 overall pick, fast forward to now will he even be a top 5 round pick? Which is unfortunate

Yeah DL. Rest of the players with 1st round potential are not draft eligible

It'll be RJ or Kendrick.

Chad depending on how he plays this season (which I think he'll be beast), could go anywhere between the 3rd - 5th round. (I hope he goes as high as the 2nd, but I doubt it).

Mark is definitely getting drafted, Idk what round, but someone will pick him up... Both Herndon & Dee Delaney will be mid round draft picks next year as well.

2019 is the year we'll see the Canes reemerge to our draft day dominance, 'cause Ahmmon Richards, Joe Jackson & Shaquille Quarterman are all 1st round picks.

Kendrick Norton is a definite 1st round pick
RJ McIntosh and Chad Thomas also got potential to be 1st rounders as well.

And i think Dee Delaney and Chris Herndon could push for a 1st round pick next year depending on the season they have.

Also say Dee Delaney and Christopher Herndon could push for a 1st round pick next year depending on the season they have.
You being overly optimistic. These NFL "scouts" undervaluing Miami players lately

It seems like the camp evaluations are more valuable than college resume's.so it depends on measurables and evaluations. If KC has a decent year I think he will impress at camps and has a shot of being a first round pick.

I think Norton will go 1st round ... Delaney is way too hard to predict just cause of what his situation is but that is a possibility if he blows up .. One possibility could be Chad if he has a huge season but I don't know how realistic that is and I put Herndon in the same category as Chad and that's just a complete guess on him

Like Liberty City said though .. Once 2019 gets here we'll have dudes rolling through that mf like its nobody business ..

Richard has the best chance. NFL guys LOVE interior pass rushers who can defend the run as well. He also has shown the ability to beat the double team and has good strength and lateral quickness.

Mark Walton. He will get tons of carries this year with our QB situation and have really big numbers again.

best bets are Norton or RJ. Both have already flashed top end NFL talent and both get another year under coach Kool. Scouts are well aware of Kool's excellence and I;m sure they hold his evaluations in high regard. Here's the formula: put up another year of great film + test well at the combine + Kool recommendation = great shot at being early draft pick.

Walton won't go first round. Cook just went late second. You have to be elite elite to go first as a rb

Delaney if anyone but I think our streak ends this year
