I would be shocked if Heaps ins't selected in the draft. He was a 5 star out of HS and QB is a posiion of need in the NFL. The only reason he not starting for his third different major division 1 school is Kaaya is a future first rounder. This guy has Matt Cassell or better written all over him.

My outlook is a little brighter for some of these guys..Remember, there is still 5 more games to go...Including the FSU game, where money is always made for someone no matter how bad the matchup.. (Duane Starks in 97') Edgerrin James became a top 5 pick because of the UCLA game and the NC State game. Beat out the invincible Ricky Williams. So you never know...All that said..

Perryman will be a late 1st rounder IMO. I just think he has "Jon Beason" type written all over him and NOBODY thought Beast would be taken in the 1st.

Dorsett is going to WOW some people at the combine and go in the 3rd. People say all he can do is Go routes..Well..How many teams you think would love to have a guy like Mike Wallace on their team? **** thats all he can do. If he was still with the Steelers, he would be a Pro Bowler.

Walford and Felaciano go in the 4th. With the new premium on TEs..Walford will get some teams attention. Esp with that UM pedigree. Felacinano will be able to thank Linder and Henderson for getting drafted in the 4th. I think they layed the groundwork that UM Olineman have talent, just not really coached up well.

Chick might go in the 5th-6th..I think some team is going to take a flyer on him.

Armbrister might sneak in there somewhere if he does well at the combine.

Rest will be going the AJ Highsmith route. Retiring from football 1 day after the draft is up. Maybe Shane can be KCs agent when he comes out in 3 years. Ryan Williams can be grad assistant and tutor Kaaya.

In so many words. Their coach is their coach. At the very least, I would believe they would like to lean on their fan base.

We haven't been there for them. That's the discussion that needs to take place, not this same old crap about Golden every freaking minute of the day.
