Yes but it slows Miami way more by potentially limiting the pass game. Clemson doesn’t throw anyways so it’s a major factor if Miami can’t throw the way they would like.

If it turns into a running game it gives Clemson a punchers chance.

17.5 points with rain is a lot to overcome. Weather is a great equalizer of talent, and a rain game where passing is impacted would definitely hurt us more with Mensah, whereas they want to limit passing anyway
