#17 in Coaches poll & #17 AP Poll - Week 6

We win the ACC it’s guaranteed we are in the cfb playoffs what world do you live in where you think that’s not the case??
In addition to an undefeated Ohio State and Bama, we won’t get the nod over the following:

An undefeated Notre Dame
A one-loss PAC 12 Champion (Washington)
A one-loss Big 12 Champ (Oklahoma or West Virginia)

I could also see a one-loss UGA or Penn State getting in over us.

Their conference is the most elite. Put Ole Miss in the ACC and they’re the second best team in the coastal and the Miami game is a dogfight.

Put VT in the SEC West and they don’t go .500 in conference play and most likely finish 2nd to last. (Yes, Vandy beats them).
Put VT in the SEC East and they are the second best team.

Stock down: Miami.
Through no fault of their own, the Hurricanes, who dominated North Carolina Thursday night, slip one spot to No. 17.

Looks like KY jumped us.
Let's continue to take care of biz on our end.

I thank the coaches for their meaningless opinion.
Coaches have the attention span of a pumpkin. They only see as far as this past weekend.

If we win and either LSU or Uga is 11-1 and only loss is to baga do you really think we would get in over the sec team? It’s 50/50 at best

Depends. If Notre dame is in the playoffs I dont think there's any way you can put in 2 sec teams unless every other conference champion has 2 losses.

Lsu beat Auburn...at Auburn. We lost on a neutral as well. Pac 12 is crazy weak and that's why they have not even had anyone in the playoffs even close. Also didn't you see what notre Dame did to Stanford? And Stanford was the highest-ranked Pac-12 team.
We win out the rest of the season and beat Clemson in the ACC Championship we are in over any pac 12 team. Period.

If nd is undefeated, in my gut I think they get in over 12-1 Miami

Yep. LSU continuing to play well just helps our cause even more, especially since they're SEC

You’re wrong. Miami got stomped by LSU, who snuck by Auburn, who snuck by Washington on a “neutral” field. No one is putting Miami over Washington until Washington has multiple losses.

SEC x2, OSU, OK are the 4 right now (I’m obviously hoping at least 2 ACC teams can bring down the team from norther Indiana). But Miami needs help; and VT, BC and Clemson have to play well.
Yes to the 2nd paragraph.
