It's obvious that you don't understand that It really doesn't matter to me. What I get from you is that you believe Miami should be ranked higher. That's all. If I'm off in knowing your position please enlighten me.

Nope, I know it doesn't matter to you by your responses. Most people just want to explain their position without listening to the other person. Nothing new.

@hughhoney Sorry. I thought we got past the pettiness. We may not agree but we both want the Canes to get back to winning titles.

Iowa went from #22 in week 6 to the playoffs but they leapt over several teams because they were undefeated

in 2016 no team outside the top 10 during week 6 moved into playoff position by playoff time

Same for 2017.

I say that because where we are ranked at this stage matters. There isn't a lot of time to jump a lot of teams. Teams like ND, all things being equal will get the nod over us.

The playoffs are no longer in our hands. We have to hope for other teams to lose to have a chance. Normally a team can survive an early loss, but they not only dropped us long they haven't moved us in 3 weeks. SMH

If we don't get lucky or start smashing skulls, even if we win out we won't get in. They just aren't showing us respect.

SEC WEST - Bama, Texas AM, LSU
ACC ATLANTIC - Clemson, NC State, Boston College
ACC COASTAL - Miami, VT, and Pitt
Clemson only team in ACC that competes in the SEC

You and me both D. Not sure what his point is; the fact of the matter is that there is a slurp fest for the SEC. goes without saying. Hopefully we just continue to rack up W’s, keep moving up, while other teams ahead of us lose. I still believe we got screwed big time after the LSU game dropping us as far as the pollsters did. If the teams and rankings were flipped, no way LSU would’ve fallen as far as us, sh**, they would’ve probably stayed in the **** Top 10. The bias is for real, those who don’t believe that have their heads in the sand.
 
Maybe the AP and writers are tired of Miami fooling them repeatedly ? Ranked high against LSU get embarrassed. Ranked high against Pitt, lay an egg. Ranked against may FSU team and lose and immediately quit on the season.

Don't know what your confused about - SEC is currently much stronger than the ACC
