15 Minutes of Andre Johnson at Miami

The man that fooled the NFL into thinking Dorsey should play on Sundays.
Lol even on the highlight reel one of the commentators says Johnson was so good on one particular play because he knew Dorsey would underthrow the ball

Nah....Love Hubbard (met him in 86 when cuz was a GA at UM) But better than Curtis??....Not too sure....

Wait …. CP???

If so, really good coach. Knows defense, and DB's, that's for sure.

I always thought he should have taken a shot as a head guy at a college football program. Realizing that some guys are NFL guys, some are college guys, and VERY few are both like Jimmy Johnson or Pete Carroll. I think after he left UM with Butch, he basically stayed in the NFL. Maybe he didn't like the recruiting and booster stuff, which is what drives good coaches to the NFL track.

Yes Chuck....Few people realize (@dsddcane knows) Chuck was offered the UM HC job before Richt....His health and family were the factors in him declining....

Yes, that's right. forgot about that.

And I had heard there was some discussion about him and the UM job, but wasn't sure if there was any truth or just internet fodder. Funny how things turn. I mean, what if? 🤷‍♂️
Yeah, he was offered....He coached with Reed in the Pro Bowl this past yr...but is enjoying his time with Family....His brother John is the Texans LBer coach, after Gruden fired him as DC in Oakland...John actually was an assistant NFL coach before Chuck by 5yrs..

The Most underrated RB in UM History...Period...All you hear is Portis...Gore...McGahee...Edge..etc, and rightfully so....but anyone who thinks O.J. doesn't belong in their company, truly doesn't know UM History....he played on some God awful teams...with God awful OLs....Put him on later UM teams...and we wouldn't even be having this convo....SB MVP too Boot....OJ might very well be the reason I'm a Cane fan since 75
Very underrated but I think Chuck Foreman is the most underrated.
The guy was one of the best all around RB ever. Especially with pass catching

@RedSquare Those days are long gone...Lol...I don't have the privy I had at UM from 95-2001..Lol....Nobody is left...Even Butchs secretary (and JJs and Ericksons) (Myrna Schneider) has been gone many yrs....I was friends with one of the heads of Security back in the day...Cuban guy named Rodolpho...used to buzz around in a Golf cart, has been gone since 06...Lol....I can't pull out no "Hi, I'm Chucks cousin" card no more...Lol....

Would've been a very different day. Once chuck passed(the thought was even out of chuck he was gonna accept.)it changed alot of the staff we were lining up. Already had Trestman as an oc and kp as dline. Few other names I'll keep to myself) while all this was going on chuck had a setback with his health. Otherwise the richt regime never transpires. I think the world of chuck & think he would've done amazing here. Class act and every player he ever had loves the man. I still look to him as family & talk often.
