15 Minutes of Andre Johnson at Miami

Man I miss the tenacity at RB and the speed!!! Hopefully with Cam’ron and Lo we are getting back to being able to hit homeruns from the field anytime these 2 touch the ball. It did help Portis though that we had a **** good OL back in the day. But even so, his ability to cut them hit an extra gear are 2 things that made Clinton unbelievable at RB.

For Andre, he couldn’t do much when he first got to the U but did he ever turn it around with good ole fashioned hard work. Hoping KJ, JT, Hightower, and Pope all make big steps forward playing WR. They do that and boy, this offense could really be special this season. To the tune of a rewind back to the early 2000’s. Not in terms of formations mind you but production. It would be nice to give the defense a 14-17pt cushion late in games where they could pin their ears back and hunt their QB. Got a great feeling Enos will be able to utilize our offense in such a productive manner that we crack Top 40 finally for the 1st time in many years.

Same guy has Clinton highlights too

Ppl don’t give Clinton his due; my guy should’ve been to at least 5 pro bowls. Rookie yr he put up 1500 yrds and no one gave it a 2nd thought b/c that Denver team didn’t make the playoffs. 2nd yr, dang near put up 1600 yrds. If not mistaken, only E ****erson & E James put up more yrds in their 1st 2 seasons than Clinton Portis. Had he not got injured, he would’ve easily put up 12k for a career in only 9 seasons.

The time those Miami QBs had in the pocket was great. I miss that. Time to see the receivers and get the ball in front of them. That’s what JT4 needs. Miami has the speed. Just need a line to buy a little bit of time.

Hubbard was a Great Coach...but he wasnt exclusively a WR coach....Curtis was...
WRs that Curtis coached...
Santana
Dre
Wayne
Beard
Sinorce Moss
Ryan Moore
Yatil Green
Tony Gaiter
Andre King
Darryl Jones
Roscoe Parrish
Darnell Jenkins
And....was the main reason Ed Reed came to UM.....(keep in mind that for 4yrs he coached them under sanctions)..As I said...Best WR coach in UM History....ask @Franchise bout Curtis...

from about the 3 minute mark on.

The Most underrated RB in UM History...Period...All you hear is Portis...Gore...McGahee...Edge..etc, and rightfully so....but anyone who thinks O.J. doesn't belong in their company, truly doesn't know UM History....he played on some God awful teams...with God awful OLs....Put him on later UM teams...and we wouldn't even be having this convo....SB MVP too Boot....OJ might very well be the reason I'm a Cane fan since 75

OJ was a beast. I grew up watching Cleveland Gary torture other teams.
