As usual you're placing importance on all of the wrong numbers-just like with hoe *** recruiting rankings. A much better barometer to judging offensive efficiency & productivity, is S&P+ ratings. In the future learn to be humble, and expand your horizons. It'll serve you well-maybe not on wall st, but in all other aspects of your life it will.

Please.
Kehoe makes Butch Barry look like the second coming of Monte Clark.
I agree with everything you said , I wouldn’t say our D dominated, but at the same time, unforced errors are just a part of the game and will happen **** near every game. Although I think Rousseau played a factor in that 1st INT, he flashed inside on a stunt and made Franks think he had to throw it higher than he did . Even with their DEs wreaking havoc and with all of our unforced penalties and mistakes (which if you tally them all up we had much more than they did) , we still outgained them
But on the other side of the coin their offense was also gifted the ball on the 11 yard line, a blatant false start on a key 4th down was ignored, a bs pass interference call, and there were multiple missed holds and also a missed delay of game call . All benefits for their offense .
Wh
what happened to jw and enos freaking suck we in trouble should let Martell play or Perry we had a offense of curse
Yeah but the offense is on the QB he not ready to leadI’m not sure why Tate wasn’t allowed to throw the ball to keep them honest. He would’ve served well b/c there’s no game film on him in this capacity, especially.
The first script was cool, but all these false starts, holding, players not knowing when the snap count was....I mean, come on. The refs had a major hand, but we kept shooting ourselves time & time again.
FYI..UF had the 15th ranked Offense in the country last yr. We held them to 304 total yds, 50 yds rushing, and forced 4 TOs.
UF 2018 is different than UF 2019. Miami was one of the worst offenses last yr; that had 0 to do w this yr. Its not even the same UF team. Their OL was completely different. No Scarlett, No Cleveland, No Taylor, No Stephens.
Bruh, u r comparing apples to oranges. This was a different UF team than 2018.
What difference does “ last years” stats even mean. They have different people just like we have different people on O.especially on the Oline.
Hate to say it but if they had the same offensive line as last year putting up last nights stats the game might not have been close. They lost pretty much their whole Oline and we couldn’t do anything with a bunch that was touted as bad or worse than ours.Id hate to think that if they had “ last years” Oline how much time Franks would have had back there.
Never understood about comparing things to last year when all things on both side of the ball have all changed..
Yeah..I don't think you have ANY CLUE as to what you're talking about. They returned their starting QB, best RB, all of their WRs, and most importantly they kept their entire coaching staff on that side of the ball in-tact: but yet somehow you're still trying to advance the argument that its an apples to oranges comparison?? FOH. The apples to oranges comparison..is trying to equate the level of turnover on MIA's offense to UFs - only a dumbass would do that. At the conclusion of the season when UF once again finishes in the top 20 on offense..what will you say then? If you had any self-respect you would stop posting on this forum forever, but of course you don't have the heart or guts to do that.
Also..the only clowns are the individuals in this hoe *** fanbase who spend an inordinate amount of time discussing trivial things like alternate football jerseys/uniforms, turnover chains, & touchdown rings-things that have no bearing whatsoever on W's & L's.
In either event, let's get rid of the Wagners, Charlestown Southerns and Savannah States. I'm not even keen on the FIUs and FAUs. The tune-ups should at least be MAC level (or similar) to give them credible reps.Lets take baby steps and start scheduling Pac-12 teams first. Then we can move up to big 12 teams.
It been a long time since we've been able to do that.I’m just not sure what anyone expected. It’s not excuses it’s fact.
Go back and look at the history, of first time starters, first time coaches and first time OC, ....then add in new Tackles and you have the recipe for what you saw last night. What makes it sting as a canes fan is that we’ve seen this same
Act over and over as we’ve burned through coach after coach.
Every example you gave of a freshman is a kid on a stacked team littered with 4 and 5 star talent. By your own admission you said our guys are not elite so what is the comparison.
And also revisionist history at his best. Trevor Lawerence WAS TRASH in his 1st start @Home vs Cuse last year. Dude was shell shocked and eventually got knocked out of the game. At the time ppl were saying he low key quit. Dabo was shook and had to defend the kid after the game. The kid rebounded and the rest is history.
I agree with you Shaq...dude has missed more sacks that anyone I can remember.
And toughness I don’t know what you define as tough. I saw a lot toughness in many areas of this team. Our QB took double digit sacks never held his head down and kept standing the pocket. He was almost too poised maybe if he was a little rattled and he would have threw to his check down.
We held a very physical running team in check with only our front I consider that toughness.
We battled through adversity and gave ourself a chance to win, I would consider that showing mental toughness.
Point is this. We will never have an elite team without earning it on the field. We aren’t going to risk and aren’t capable of out bidding teams for players. So we Are going to have growing pains.
I’m not high I’m not low. Unfortunately it takes time. UNC will be more telling than this game.

I've stated in the past we throw around elite too loosely around here and have been called out on it. But just because they're not elite doesn't make them Jags. There's a lot of gray area in between. We a little too quick throwing people under the bus.We have 0 elite players on the team and the closest to it by a mile is Brevin.
JT and Mallory were jags on the big stage last night I hope that changes going forward.
Plus we dominate the gaytor drive 1 then abandon that style for PA fakes with an OL who couldn’t block at all.
I would be livid if I were pope and Hightower.
Wow does our DL get overrated. They got manhandled most of the day
I don't mind an SEC or Big 10 team. We need a litmus test to see were we stand. If we lose so be it. But not the first game of the year. We're not built for it like we used to be. Towards the end of September, before the conference schedule kicks in would be perfect. If you want my honest opinion. I think we should start the season with a G5 game to warm us up and let the coaches work the kinks out without having to worry to much about losing. I think a MAC or a MWC team would be perfect. No way we should schedule an AAC team, since some of them have legit shots of beating us, especially if we come out cold.
Then play an FCS team later in the season and use it basically as a bye week.
Then play 2 pac-12 teams. No way in **** should we schedule an SEC or B1G team because they will roll us unless we pick a bottom feeder like Rutgers. Then in a few years we could move up to scheduling Big 12/pac 12 teams. Then way later on we can start with the B1G then SEC teams.

I had to wait late to post this; simply b/c of pure anger flowing through my blood.
This was the classic “giving the game away” moment. Ya’ll know I keeps itw no homerism in game, so here’s my take from today’s game.
1. Can we please stop using the term “elite” w any of our players? Elite don’t miss tackle after tackle. Elite don’t drop TDs or muff punts in clutch moments. Elite don’t give up 10 sacks and an ungodly amount of QB pressure. Elite doesn’t allow a make shift OL to give a rattled-by-nature QB time to just throw the ball at will. Our young men are good, but not elite.
2. I’m not sure why Enos didn’t pull Jarren to the side and just tell him it’s OK to throw the ball out of bounds. Him holding on to the ball for literally 5-6 secs was inexcusable.
3. Will Mallory....he’s beginning to look like a Green Tree All American.
4. Shaq and Pinckney, extremely disappointed in them. I’m still waiting for Shaq to show me something in big games.
5. The DBs by far looked like the best coached unit, which is ironic b/c it’s so thin.
6. Bravo Mr Dallas; hats off to you! Helluva game by that boy!
7. ST is still broken in all facets. Ridiculous
8. UF tried to give us the game & we refused to take it.
9. Where tf is Pope???!!
10. The refs absolutely sucked. While they didn’t lose us the game, they certainly killed momentum and gave UF momentum several times by either calling bad PIs, missing blatant holds, calling holds on us that weren’t there (see Harris’ run) or missing a false start that was extremely egregious. Yet, they didn’t miss a beat on any resemblance of an infraction on us.
11. I’m tired of the talking. I didn’t see toughness; I saw confusion, and an ill-prepared team, and that was on both sides. Had we played against an actual good team w an offense, we would’ve got lit up, legit.
12. Get rid of the Turnover Knuckles. It’s weak & corny af! I don’t care if we would’ve won the game. The gimmicks r too much! It showed on & off the field. We’re beginning to look like clowns. The chain, in general, is losing its mystique and that happens when you’re continuing to lose & momentum is not shifting, despite the TOs.
Listen, I don’t want to hear this was Jarren’s 1st game, excuse. We have ample sample sizes now w Tua, Winston, Hurts, Manziel, & of course, Lawrence. These kids r coming out balling, despite youth & inexperience. The fact is, Jarren needs help; and unfortunately no matter how talented he may be, this OL is an unmitigated disaster. E
Yesterday was a mess on both sides of the coin. The trenches can no longer be filled w 3 star guys; in order to be back, the trench must be flushed w elite caliber players, not just Green Tree All Americans.
Def played well; we couldn’t flip the field, but don’t get it twisted, UF had a poor showing as well. Those two fumbles? Those weren’t forced. That 1st int? That was a **** poor throw over a wide open WR. We got zero back field penetration dang near all game; although I’m wondering y Rosseau wasn’t in, b/c he was getting penetration.
My point is, if u go back & watch the game u’ll see that UF shot itself in the foot several times v. our def dominating like we had. As mentioned, our 2ndary was solid af, and kudos to Rumph and Banda.
