12/6/14: The BOT/Admin/Fire Golden Protest

Will you attend the BOT/Admin/Fire Golden Protest on 12/6?

I voted yes like a dumbass, but I won't be able to make it....too far and can't get out o work. But I will do whatever I can from here. I will call WQAM today and tomorrow. I will call my people in Richmond heights and get them to show up. I will be there in spirit, though. Give those ******* everything you've got!!!!!!!
 
Everybody who can go, bring a friend (or two)!!! Thank you, OP. If I weren't in ATX and lived within a 300 mile radius, I'd be there.

60 confirmed yes votes between CiS and WEZ. There has some pretty good momentum on twitter today as well. I'd say we're up to about 75 right now. I'd love to have close to 200 people at the rally.
 
What is the point of urging people to go the BBall game and then protesting the very AD that you are blissfully handing money over to? Makes absolutely no sense. Makes more sense to protest at or outside the bball game. The admin and BOT would gladly take your money in exchange for some protests.
 
If you are holding it right after the basketball game are you going to mention the basketball program in any way or relate it to the progress in football (i.e. coach L built BB from nothing while Golden had 30 years of amazing history and lots of support but team got worse, both were under investigation, etc.)? That might help in that we can't be portrayed as a crazy, foaming-at-the-mouth mob as much

Main point is to highlight the fact that a competent and well regarded head coach can do wonders for any program. Larranaga is proof of that. The rally will be geared more towards the football program and how the BOT/Admin are not hiring the right coaches, investing the money, or necessary resources to maintain success.

That is a good point. The basketball team should be highlighted for its success DESPITE being under the same cloud

You are dealing with an admin that is more than happy to take your money through basketball instead of football. Spending ANY money on cane athletics is counterproductive and selfish.

I respectfully disagree. I think it shows the increased revenue for a team that is winning. Extrapolate that to how much they are losing w the shtty Gorlden product.
