Since Mark Richt arrived there's been eleven former Golden players who are no longer in the program for various reasons.

Offense-
Joe Brown-OL
Tyree Brady-WR
Gary Chow- HB/TE
Jake O'Donnell-TE
D'Mauri Jones-WR
Walter Tucker-FB
Jerome Washington-TE

Defense-
Earl Moore-DT
Artie Burns- CB-NFL Draft
Gayot-LB
J. Hamliton-DL

I except a few more during the spring and after the spring game.

To be fair, most of them didnt contribute.

AB will be missed. wish him all the best in the NFL

So can we talk about the horrible attrition under Mark Richt yet?

I count 75 on the current roster including the Grad Transfer from Texas. Only showing 11 soon to be Seniors or RS Seniors.

Attrition only partially done.

I think we lose these players between now and August of 2017:

Kaaya leaves early for draft
At least 1 RB will transfer for more playing time
Langham gone
At least 2 OL gone (Loftus, Grimsley, Jahair Jones are attrition candidates)
Njoku leaves early for draft
Fines transfers or switches to OG
Mcray gone
M Smith and/or Gordinier gone (maybe we keep one as a DE specialist, but won't be surprised if we jettison both)
Mayes gone
Knowles gone

James King and Henley are also guys i would consider gone, but i think they are related to two important recruits (CB Brini and WR Leroy Henley) so we might keep em, depending on how high those recruits are are on our board.

Kaaya won't leave early, unless he's projected as the #1 pick in the draft. He would benefit from 2 years with Richt.

I disagree about Kaaya and Njoku leaving early, It would benefit Kaaya greatly to refine his skillset. And I hope Richt puts Kaaya under center most of the time. With Njoku,to me I think he may return to play with his lil brother and to play with Kaaya and an dynamic season can only boost his draft stock.

Out of the DBs I would think that Knowles and Henley would be prime candidates for attrition. I think Mayes might develop enough to stick around but in reality I don't know much about how he has developed up to this point other than he was quite raw upon his arrival. Is Mayes still a CB going forward with this staff or would a move to S serve him better? Is Mayes even Miami material?

17' recruiting class is gonna be huge.

If I am correct it be a full 25 + up to 7 more depending on how many players we get to EE. So the 2017 class could have up 32 players. We are in a great position to begin stacking elite talent again.

Mayes was a reach. I like Knowles.
