10th coaching spot will go to defense, no offensive staff changes

Everyone who isn't a blind Homer saw this coming. If we're going to hire an OC would have been in the mix when FSU, Tenn and Auburn were out hunting for an OC. Richt will not give up the play calling and it will be his demise.
 
Why is everyone upset? If Richt is in fact a complete dunce which you all are saying then next year will be a failure and he will be gone. I would imagine you all are chomping at the bit for our first Loss. True fans.

There’s no indication that Richt will be canned next year, if Blake James won’t even step in this situation what makes you think he’ll have the nuts to fire Richt. He’ll much prefer to ride out Richt until 2023 than to fire him next year

Richt is playing with house money. He knows after getting his extension last off season and dropping a mil on the IPF he bought himself an extra year at least. When the offense crashes and burns again next year maybe then he will make changes to try to save his job. Maybe. With his son on staff who knows if he will have the balls to let his son go.

I think strictly for the fact that Richt has a chance to make a change on O and has not yet and it appears will not. He is giving him his own bed. Richt is making it. We will see what happens with the O next year.

I can see Richt's mindset which is probably wrong. I and most can understand we were very limited by our QB play. Rosier just wasn't good and Perry was an immature freshman getting his first play at major D1 level. Lets also not forget our line was suspect at best.
Another year in the off season (maybe he makes some scheme changes) and some new blood on the Oline then he can get an accurate read on whether his scheme and coaches will in fact work.

Defending medicrioty doesn't make you more of a fan. But please don't let that stop you from putting on your super fan cape everyday.

It's going to be the board that pushes Blake James to fire Richt. James is just a puppet trotted out for donations. Blake's going to give the typical "I'm not going to fire Richt speech" up until the board says to go ahead and fire him.

Swallow that pill of speculation. It should put you at ease that you know the mindset of Richt and the outcome already.
 
Perfect! Hes digging his own grave. Next year it should not be forgotten that he refused to hire an experienced DC or even look for an OC.. his stubbornness will be his downfall
