10th coaching spot will go to defense, no offensive staff changes

All that money that was saved by hiring Banda and Patke. The Richtamanics were saying we were getting a hot shot OC.

I totally expect Richt to hire some new coaches on OF after the season just based off the recent offensive recruits willing to wait until NCD to make their decision. Some are reported to be silent commits and a few were ready to sign early but now will wait it out. These recruits really want to come to Miami, but if there are no decisions with OF coaches, look for them to go else where. This is probably the recruiting pitch Richt is making to them to hold out so he can find the right OC to come on board! I have no inside info or hearing from someone close to the program, this is just from what little info that's out there and just going off of common sense for the direction Richt should make to save the program from further disaster!.

If this is not the case because of recent developments I think Richt is completely clueless to fixing this mess! My opinion is just from reading the tea leaves that Richt in no way sit pat with the offensive coaching staff he has now!!

There's no reason for Richt to wait. That's amateur hour BS if it were true. He could start to let go of position coaches and hire an actual OC, other programs have done it, so could Miami. Our staff is basically set for next year outside of the 10th coach which will likely be DVD.
