10th coaching assistant

I would get a LB coach and let Diaz solely focus on the scheme.

Rumph gets some flack for recruiting but coaches the F out of his players.

Banda has done a nice job as well.

Ideally we could get rid of Diaz, Rumph, Banda, Hartley & Lil Jon

Replace them with Venables, Raymond, Sunseri, Lilly & Dorsey

I trust Richt to make the call for 10th coach... :cough: OC :cough:

I don't know about y'all but IMO defense is the way to go Ed Reed is the top choice but if that's a pipe dream how about Cane legend Mike Barrow. He is a solid LB coach and I know he would love to coach at the U again in a 4-3 1 gap aggressive defense that he knows all too well

Aside from the recruiting prowess of Dugans, the resume and offensive minds of the rest of our Offensive staff is below average for a top 10 team. I really hope we bring in another guy on offense with a solid resume.

I'm not 100% on Searles yet. Trying to determine if the **** poor run blocking was talent or coaching

Love Dorsey, but I wouldn't be all that excited about adding a Mike Shula disciple to the offensive staff. Shula is god awful.

If it's an offensive guy, it would be great to have a spread run expert because we're a spread team, and our run game from the spread is ****.

Maybe we could hire Dantonio to coach the defense?

Barrow would actually be solid. Could help Manny with the linebackers and also take the special teams.

I think we are really overlooking how bad the specials has been. The playcalling has had periods of being bad but hard to tell with Rosier as the QB (Alabama's backup was better at going through progressions and looking off defenders). On the other hand, there is NO reason for us to not have an elite return game, block the occasional kick, etc.

Does DVD have any real coaching experience? I would rather have Dorsey, he would certainly be a MASSIVE upgrade over Lil Richt as QB Coach.

Would love for the 10th coach to be an ACE recruiter. I think we have a lot of coaches that are great developers and good recruiters which gives us the opportunity to bring in a guy that can close in recruiting.
