I remember being disappointed when Barrow left. I think he said it was to take care of his mother, but these boards all knew he saw the writing on the wall with Golden.

I thought he did a pretty good job coaching the LBs, and he was a beast recruiter. Very spiritual, if I remember correctly. Allowed him to make deep connections with a lot of recruits.

We could do a lot worse than Barrow, IMO.

Most importantly, he knows what a Miami player is supposed to look like. he would be an advocate for a guy like Bonnitto or Abdullah. No way he would've let those guys leave.

so yall think Barrow who was the seahawks LB coach and assistant head coach, is a poor coach, and the only positive he would bring is recruiting?

Not calling you out, but can you name all these “beast” recruits that Barrow was responsible in bringing in?
 
So does this make the Patke officially the 10th coach? I assume you can't do in-home visits unless you are a full time coach. Can anyone clarify?

I read that you can have a grad assistant recruit for you before hiring the 10th coach.

which is what ive been getting at from the jump. We basicaly are holding up spots with some of the guys we have on staff imo. And those guys seem to be stamped in.
 
With Jon Richt on staff, I think it would be next to impossible to bring Dorsey home. It’s a shame because every QB he’s worked with in the NFL loved him. Does anyone break game film down better? Extremely strong work ethic and hates losing. I think he would be a strong recruiter, but I guess that’s not certain.

He’s a natural to come home.

Hence the reason I don't and never have wanted that **** boy on staff. Unfirable and brings nothing to the table.
