I mean Fernando won it at Indiana of all places (Deservedly so) ..but yeah I’d trade a Healthy Toney for chasing Heisman stats any day of the week

Mario has to see what else hes got in that OL room. Empty the bench and see whos ready. Forget all this, "Earn it in practice" nonsense. How has that worked out so far? Lets see who can play when the lights come on. The season depends on it.

I agree on all of that, was watching rams Monday night and they were up 24 with 4 minutes left and stafford was still in the game. Youd think getting a backup QB real reps during the season would matter but I guess not.

Jaxson Dart wanted to go back into the Giants game Monday night, so much that they took his uniform. Then the trainer told Harbaugh 4-6 weeks. Then they got home, stuck him in an MRI, and he's out for the year.

I mean no you no disrespect but I don't love this MO. If we're going to concern ourselves with anything but winning games then we've lost our way. If one of our guys wins the Heisman as a result of their full body of work over the course of a season then that's great, but chasing this is what led to the pick 6 against VT in 2002 when Payton tried throwing it to Dorsey (when we should have handed it off to Willis) which was the most regrettable thing perhaps ever, or at least it was until that team's next game.

I completely understand. But with this O-Line, defense, and coaching staff, having a legit Heisman candidate might sway opinions in our favor for CFP considerations. And it shouldn't take more than 4 or 5 drives anyway.

I also want to watch our stars play. Not next years portal additions.
