We have track guys. Harley, Pope, Cam and Chaney all run the 100 meters in the 10s.

We don’t have great skill guys and we don’t have guys who can make defenders miss.
I think in general miami fans have forgotten what big time athletes look like so sometimes we overrate our guys too quick.. Like camp reports on Rosier are skewed because we havent seen a real qb on campus in years. When King shows up the bar is raised and changes. Are skill guys are not good, they couldnt separate at all from UNC wack defense.. I know you go to games so you had to see what I saw when compared to UNC.. If we are gonna run spread with simple routes you better have elite guys who can win with ease, we dont have that. Running up the middle every play with weak oline, and thats with King as a threat..

Pope never looks fast, he cant separate, high schoolers are locking up Wiggins, Harley steps up then drops an easy one, cam is limited, none of those guys scare anybody in nation

Giving up 2nd & 26 on a counter and the RB ran untouched might've been the most embarrassing moment of the day.
Yea Herbstreit said “2nd and 26 no problem run counter for a first down, it doesn’t matter what’s the down and distance just run counter”.

Hitting 20 mph bro. Feeley clocked us, remember??

Speaking of Feeley; let me perfectly clear as to y I said our S&C is not up to par....see any team that decides to become physically imposing on us. Guys always fall forward when hat on hat football is met, and we look slow. The only time we look fast is when playing Duke. NC St looked faster than us, til they got too conservative. Clemson was way faster than us. UL looked faster than us; just their QB sucked.

I suggest we go back & rewatch our games...(don’t, seriously it’ll give u heart burn, even the wins), but we don’t look physically imposing often.

We don’t look physically imposing EVER

By 3rd drive, with both offenses running hurryup and us going 3 and out against a scrub defense, just knew we were in for a world of hurt.. If they pushed pace 2nd half they could of scored 80+, because Lashlee was gonna keep foot on gas going 3 and out, look at plays when they put Van Dyke in, only reason clock started to run was because of sack, if not for that they would have hit 800 yrds

Why's anyone surprised? Half the board's clamoring that defense doesn't count in the "modern" game, it's all about offense out scoring the other offense. Well yesterday was the result.

I still don’t understand what I witnessed.

Same thing we have been witnessing for over a decade. Miami has access to high caliber athletes because of location, we beat teams that we can just outclass, but, every so often, another coaching staff pulls our staff's pants down and sodomizes them, leading to results like this.

Are we surprised at this point? It's basically amateur hour from the AD on down. I was actually impressed when they hired Lashlee and some of the other new offensive coaches, because we normally don't go out there and get the best guys available...

Of course, that probably means that Lashlee will leave for greener pastures and we'll promote from within to replace him.

Manny will be gone soon. He is awful

If by "soon" you mean 2-3 more years, maybe.

Only way he gets fired sooner is if someone actually cleans house in the AD.

Blake James and Manny are friends. He's not going to ruthlessly fire Manny, not even after a dismal 2021 season.

But we had all those defensive stats. No way we gave up all those yards. We were on par with Bama.....

stats people. SMH....

Some people will never get it. Never, ever get it.

UNC’s skill guys are on a different planet than ours. I made a thread a couple weeks ago that they had the second best skill guys in the nation besides Bama.

It turns out that most of the improvement in the WR core after the Clemson game was just Harley. We need to have an open competition at every WR spot this off-season.

Are they running track, now, at the collegiate level or are u referring to them back in high school?

Gonna need two portal wr. Our best players are portal guys and we cant recruit difference makers or convince to stay home, they go to bama..

Maybe buffalo again or something.. we had open competition earlier this year, maybe this is best we got.. again we hear about Jeremiah Payton but dude cant get pt over this bunch?

We need portal wr hopefully 2.. should of got Stevenson from Houston also and shorter from PSU last year

Herbie called Baker an ''outstanding defensive coordinator''.

He was being serious....

Yeah
