Say what you will about Mario, he ALWAYS has his team ready for big out of conference games. His signature win was Oregon beating Ohio State in Columbus with half the team out. Absolutely no one gave them a shot that game. Last year vs Florida was another example. We played Texas A&M tough year 1 and boat raced them year 2. Even the game Oregon lost to Auburn, they had the game under control but Nix made some incredible plays.

My biggest reasons for optimism (aside from the roster) are: (1) the experience edge at QB; and (2) the atmosphere.
All those things. But most of all to me,.. I’m in Boston, visiting. Went to Fenway, and sat in front of a fellow alumn. Went to small food store, walk . in guys got the “U” thrown up,” all about it baby. See the same guy captaining a yacht out side my hotel room, whistle and shoot the “U”, he returns it. Sitting in the park people watching at the Long Wharfs. Next thing here is “Something in the Air” from across the park. And I’m thinking,.. the Earth is turning in our favor. Can’t wait,.. 3/31🙌🏽

I know everyone refers back to 2017 but someone made reference in other thread stadium isn't full for certain games and crowd is a problem.

Was watching '23 tamu game just to see how Dawson did wit more statuesque QB and at 14:57 mark Jesse palmer made comment about home field advantage and crowd noise right before Kam INT.. Uppers were half full, empty in corners and crowd noise was a problem.. next week will be full and on another level of rabid

No. 1 reason is Canes have new Defensive Coordinator.

5 reasons
1. Our Offense is good and good offensive have proven they can put up points on them.
2. Our CBs are some of the best in the nation and are a good matchup against NDs WRs
3. The DLs blend of size and speed will give NDs OL problems
4. We have the better QB by far
5. Our RBs will wear them down over the game. Fletcher, Lyle, and Brown are all 215-230lbs.
