Rambo must have bad measurebales to not be picked after the way he produced last year. So what accounts for Rambo’s success if he isn’t fast or big? Route running? Playing with a good QB? Playing in the right system? Some combo of these facts.
Idk good question because there was tons of super questionable WRs taken in rounds 3-7

All the more reason to take a fat NIL deal and have two years on tape doing it again. Back to back 1k seasons sometimes transcends measurables.

I ask this because everyone is clamoring for UM to find a transfer WR to replace Rambo and Harley who were admittedly very productive. 2 of the most productive of all-time at UM.
But neither is apparently NFL draft worthy so why should they be so hard to replace? Are we not recruting guys behind Rambo and Harley that we expect to at least be drafted? Brinson, George and X. Do we expect anyone of them to be drafted? Because if so, they have more pro potential than Rambo and Harley m

the problem was Manny couldnt develop. @Sebastianspipe and I talk about this all the time. So many kids came in with good freshman years and more they were here, the more they regressed. Mario brought in some studs but this wasn't a full class. He will be loading up but it will take a few years. looks at vids of Mario coaching and Manny doing that tackling drills. it's night and day

Though even with a good QB, the reality is Rambo made TVD better. His ability to win 50/50 balls and his timing and body control were elite, regardless of his speed and size. Not sure how he was passed up by some of the WRs that were drafted in rds 3 & 4 much less the ones drafted later.

Yeah and all the more reason to offer NIL deals to productive college players. Why is UM getting caught up trying to figure out which 18 year old will be a star such that we have to recruit 20+ every year just to have a chance at recruting the correct players? That form of roster creation is highly, highly inefficient.
A far more efficient form of roster creation and NIL value spending is to simply offer NIL deals to players who have already been good in college and bringing them to UM for 1-3 years.
think about it. Make it known that kids who are good in college will get a fat NIL deal at UM. Those kids will recruit themselves trying to get to our NIL deals. UM will recruit. itself And our success/hit rate will be a lot higher than betting on high school kids who still have to adjust to:
academics, freedom from parents, girls, drugs, girls, for some, being away from home and girls.
2 years of college and kids have figured most of that out and we can see who was able to handle these issues and who was not.

That’s what I am asking. Which one made the other better? Rambo or TVD? Because tonight‘s results mean the NFL is giving the credit for a very productive season to either TVD or Lashlee, or both.
