#1 2026 WR Tristen Keys breaks down his Official Visit to Miami with CIS

We never lost Dalvin Cook or Amari Cooper bruh lol
Bruh....U smarter than this.....

Dalvin Cook was a loss....he was never committed to anyone during his recruitment. He committed and signed with FSU the same Day.

Amari Cooper was told to commit by Al Golden in his office and Amari said no. Recruitment was over!!! That is a loss!!

None of the two recruits were committed to anyone going on a OV.

Agreed. Guy needed *checks notes* zero drafted wide receivers to produce the best offense in the country and school history.

Here’s the part where you tell me Cam Ward was the #1 pick of the draft and you forget the part that he came to Miami in the first place because the NFL told him he’d have been drafted Day 3.

God Bless.
Cam and Carson are different, are they not? Cam being more mobile and also more healthy? Not to mention he came in and pushed that offense to be better? I think a lot of people slept on Cam coming into last season and also the situation he was stepping into. This year there is a lot of hype on our QB, Carson coming off injury, and a lot less on our production returning. That’s my only concern.

In our case, yes. Coaches also make players look good! But that ain’t Mario, he needs far superior talent to succeed. But luckily he has the ability to bring in that talent
Everyone needs superior talent IMO look at ryan Day, Kirby, Saban.....all geniuses cause of rosters that were littered with talent. Same as LSU when they won with Burrow, they all have the same thing in common, max talent for that specific season.

cook committed to UF 1st

actually 2nd when he visited US, Clemson before UF

Well, when talking about the #1 offense. That entire offense aside from like 3 guys on the OL and our RBs are gone. So, that’s a bunch of production to replace. Then when you add the lack of chemistry. I’m really just in wait and see mode with our offense this year. A bunch of unanswered questions, more so this year than last.
Not disagreeing at all. My confidence is in the OL which is pretty much the same as last year(Bell played a lot), Beck, and Dawson. Beck has a ton of experience and has played in numerous big time games. My biggest issue is the receiving group. Not necessarily the talent but relying on so much youth. Daniels is the vet and may replace the production of someone like Horton but who replaces the X and George production? Who replaces the Arroyo production? Lofton gets all this Greentree hype but has to produce when it matters. Arroyo was all hype until last year as well(mainly due to injuries). The offense is going to have to rely heavy on the run game early on until these receivers are up to speed.

Nice to see intelligent life at CIS. Nicely put.

I would pass on Tristen Keys and focus on Vance Stafford. That kid is fast, good hands, and many moves that would drive a CB crazy. Needless to say much less money too.

Why Dont We Have Both GIF

I’m gonna try to finally correct your thinking on this and anyone else on here for the last time. Number one, Beck is completely healthy! So can we please freaking stop with the BS about being injured, he is healthy! Number two, Beck has the athleticism to be just as mobile as Cam. Beck is faster in the 40 and he’s actually more athletic than Cam was. The sleeping on Beck and the constant, “ if he’s healthy” BS needs to stop! Because it’s simply past talk, not what’s going on now. I’ll give you the receiver part, but I will say this, our receiver room this year is more talented than our receiver room last year, now they have to show it on the field. Let’s not pretend like we had Top of the line guys at receiver last year because guess what, none of them got drafted!

And let’s please not forget that JoJo is the most talented receiver we’ve had on this team since ahmon Richards. JoJo is day one talent and I think we’re going to see it this year on the field.

Here is the only issue I have with what you’re saying with the production angle.

All that production was with the #1 offense and #1 overall pick in Cam who had full autonomy of the offense. I think it’s a consensus that we will not have the #1 offense this year but definitely top 25 which is far good enough.

This team will have a new identify and it’s pretty clear with our OL, QB coming of surgery and inexperienced WR corp we will be run heavy and not chuck it around the yard like Cam did last year.

Thus the production will be different. We can possibly have two thousand yard RBs this year.

I'll bet you any amount of money you'd like we don't have two 1,000 yard backs.

Carson Beck is one of the best passers in America. He didn't come here to have two 1,000 yard backs, and that's not Shannon Dawson's bag.

In 2023, with a broken TVD and a true-freshman project QB, we threw the ball 33.5 times a game, good for 39th in the country.

Insert Cam Ward, that number goes to 37.6 per game, 14th most in America.

I think this year will fall somewhere in the middle, likely closer to 2024 than 2023. It's somewhat dependent on how the pass-catchers develop, but Beck is a veteran player with a great command of the game. He didn't come here, and we didn't bring him here, to be Emory Williams or Jacurri Brown.

And remember, in 2022 with Houston, Dawson threw the ball 38.5 times a game.

We'll run the ball, but Beck is going to be PLENTY busy.

No matter how many times our fans wanna say it…we are not a running program

Also just go back to the beginning of last year Dawson barely ran the ball because he said “whelp they dared us to throw it”

Teams are gonna do the same thing this year

I’d bet a solid amount of money that Dawson is gonna come out aggressive as **** on that first drive if Notre Dame thinks they’re gonna play us in a phone booth

We’ve been joking a bit about Lofton but I’ll just call it now if we score on our first drive he’s gonna be heavily involved
