Oh boy. Not a good decision. Everyone is trying to run away from Adidas. We had our village idiots get us locked into a contract with Adidas (who has ugly designs for everything), but for once we have had the good luck to fall assbackwards into a situation where being saddled with Adidas actually helps. For their own sake, I hope they don’t switch.

I found out through a couple of people I know that are fans. Apparently their fans have been melting down over it.

Nike contract up in 26.
Some around Knoxville say it’s the worst kept secret. But the main issue is who then becomes the “flagship school”.
Aren’t people saying that the adidas contract with UM was supposed to make us the flagship? Or is that just Miami fan bullsht?

Doubt the vols wanna switch and be second fiddle to UM.
So does that mean it’s a breach? Or is it just my orange and green glasses wanting us to be Nike/JB?
 
It’s not too hard to imagine a young man from the Sip would feel more comfortable in Knoxville than Coral Gables. With that said, I don’t know crap other than UT(K) has real money like UM. Both can compete in a bidding war if they so choose.

I think the deal was flagship ACC school. I could be wrong though
