🚨🚨Official Miami-FSU Week Thread🚨🚨

These two dudes were actually fairly reasonable folks. The old man had a pretty decent moment yelling at clouds.

The doofuses at NoleDigest were huffing some serious jenkem by the sound of their takes. "If you take away Miami's advantage in the trenches, UM and FSU match up pretty evenly". Almost UF-levels of delusion.
If you take away the fact that Tom Brady has actually walked through that door, we've got a shot.

I'm done with my peeping on these weirdos. I'm sure we have some middlewit fans with YouTube streams, but this was rough sledding. Very little substance or analysis from the FSU citizen reporter corps.

Among the pros, Clay Fink and Brian Smith are the only ones worth watching.

this is why this game will always be a battle... Desir was a low 3* (maybe high 3* by the end of the cycle, idk) but had a lackluster offer list and played at Miami Norland. I dont think Miami even offered him. He has a chip on his shoulder because of that and is going to play his *** off against us and in front of his folks.

And he’ll get clobbered by a 4 and 5 star grown *** man.

Have you seen what ND has been doing on offense?

I hate when people do this, but I think in this particular case, it holds weight.

The offense ND is running now is not what we saw week 1. That was an incredibly vanilla gameplan designed strictly to hide the inexperience of their quarterback. As Carr has gained experience, the offense has begun to take off. But I was at that game and watched it back at least twice on replay, the plan that night was "Don't lose because of our freshman QB"

I'm not saying our defense doesn't deserve credit. They absolutely do. We played very, very well that night. I genuinely believe we have one of the best defenses in the country.

But, for my money, facing a Week 1 ND team, at home, stressed our defense less than what facing fsu on the road will.

I'm trying to get excited for this game. My dad passed away Friday night, pretty much after the FSU game. Had a massive heart attack. (No, he was not a FSU fan.) But I just can't seem to care.
more important things than a football game.

condolences to you and your family.

"We have to throw out everything dealing with everybody else...I don't give a **** about none of that. Our job and our goal is still in front of us. This young team we got, this great team we got, we got these young dudes, lil' Malachi Toney...young dudes but big time players...you have to learn to go into a stadium like this [Doak Campbell] and snatch their hearts."
