I don't think that their are a lot of big things that have to be cleaned up for us to be really good. If you go back and torture yourself and watch the Clemson loss, we hurt ourselves and blew a lot of opportunities to keep the game close.
The biggest gaining plays in that games were, Travis Etienne broke one off for 72 yards. The next biggest plays in the game, DK 56 yard run. KeyShawn Smith 42 yard catch, Frank Ladsen 31 yard catch and a tie between Daquris Wiggins and Braden Galloway with a 24 yard catch. The top 5 biggest plays were split 3 - 3 between Miami and Clemson and Miami had 2 out of the top 3. All of these guys are back and better.
I know there is a consensus that Wiggins shouldn't see the field, but I think that Wiggins would kill Alabamas backups. He's never had an issue getting open deep against anyone. If he's improved and can catch a few of those passes our top 4 or 5 wr's would be deadly.
Is Mike Harley college good or pro good? We'll know the answer early and it'll decide if we're ready to make the jump now. It doesn't have to be gradual, it can happen all at once.
