Louisville is a potent offensive team with really good coach that can prepare his team and mitigate your strength. Defense did enough to win the game.
Offense on the other hand and how we approach that side of the ball....how we approach the running game ultimately led to this waste of an opportunity.

Lmao I like positives sometimes. But this team needed the coach to tear them a new one after the FSU 4th qtr, but sounds like they were buying into Dmoney propaganda…. The signs were there. Penalties and offense are a liability, and need to be worked on asap. Team is too good to fail like this.

Our OL is the biggest lie. We are supposed to a bully ball team. Can’t get 3 yards per carry. If we don’t just do a rugby scrum, we really don’t get push or create positive run yards. We also have so many procedural penalties that ruin our drives. It’s a theme. Talk about discipline. Talk about accountability. Supposed to have elite OL coaches. Can’t stop getting penalties, and the majority are on the OL. Procedural or holding.

Offensive scheme is so mid. Least dynamic air raid offense in the country. No imagination. No concepts to stress the D. Red Zone offense is horrific. Over reliant on the same basic ****. Completely outclassed by their d coordinator tonight. Maybe it’s cuz…

Millions of $ on our QB. We brought him in to win us games with accuracy and poise. Struggled to throw under pressure. Looks like a baby deer. Will not be able to lean on him to win games like this. Lack of athleticism means we can’t rely on him to bail us out. Literally Tony had more points throwing than Beck. 4 picks. Complete melt down.

Defense was out schemed often. Couldn’t create pressure or tackle in space. Couldn’t stop their bread and butter stretch play. got abused underneath against linebackers on crossers. Couldn’t get off the field to give us a chance to win the game. Brohm won tonight against Heatherman, who I think is still a decent coordinator. The defense is not good enough to win for this offense. Bell had 10+ targets tonight on one leg. No answers most the night. Thank God 0 got his hat on a ball to even make it close.

I don’t know the answer. We have good players. We play scared. We play stupid. We never have schematic advantage. Everything is hard af. Every game a dog fight. I am usually in the “winning is hard” camp, but it’s hard for me to believe in this regime.

I’m not sure what we are. Mid? Good with a bad game? Idk. But we are not a top team nor a national title contender.

I think GT, Virgina, Pitt, Looserville, SMU and Duke all have better chances of making the ACC title game than Miami.
You think they are going to take a 3rd or 4th place ACC team in the playoffs? You think we are done losing? .

Looserville has shown everyone how to beat Miami, even if you have a mediocre front.

You can't really look at college football like you used to, there is no more truly dominant teams due to NIL and the portal spreading the wealth around. Last years National Champion lost twice including to a bad Michigan team who averaged like 50 passing yards a game. Alabama who still has a ridiculously amount of talent lost to FSU. Georgia lost 3 games last season, it's just a different era of college football. We do play in the ACC, so this can be our only 1 and now we must win out to make the playoffs.

In the modern era, if a defense gives up 24 points, they should win and in most cases, EASILY. Think about that, Louisville was given 4 INTs and didn't score on any of them if I'm not mistaken. ZERO POINTS ON FOUR TURNOVERS(In reality three because they weren't trying to score after the final pick). Defense did their job.

It looked nothing like it did when UVA played them...... We never open up the field. Everything is always bunched in the middle of the field.
