Yea, but it also looked like Tommy C had exhausted the defense by the 4th quarter. So many 3rd and 4th downs that he would have been tracked down and stopped earlier in the game ended up being first down conversions, which just compounded the problem. I don’t know if it was a scheme issue and Heatherman went to a prevent or player fatigue, but truthfully I started to get concerned.

To me the most impressive thing is the discipline the defense has played with in the secondary in not breaking down allowing explosive passing plays vs those mobile QBs. That is where mobile QBs can really kill you and have killed us in the past. We have given up a play here and there but for the most part we have been very good here. The fact that we have been able to excel against both the running and the passing of mobile qbs has been particularly impressive.
 
The only reason they made the game close was from having a mobile QB. But we did what we needed to to get the W and regroup

You know you can still do good without elite DT play right? and you can stop the run as well. Listen the defense has played great but obviously the team isn't perfect every team has weaknesses this season. We look the most complete so far but there will be a roster that matches up with us. That will be playoff ball where ofc we can win it all.

The last FSU drive they converted 3-4, 4th downs.

I agree, but I think we do have elite defensive tackle play going on with this team. That’s just my opinion, but that’s what I believe.

Prevent defense. Hate that crap. Play the defense you stopped them for 3 qiartersv
