“Mobile QBs are scary!”

Heatherman got supm for that. And its the discipline he has our DL playing with. I guarantee you if we had Manny for example, not to dump on him, our DL would have more sacks, but given up way more big plays.

Next thing if you notice, everyone funnels the ball. Look at the play where Poyser tackles Dansey on the reverse everyone else is holding their contain, no one is trying to jump inside to make the tackle themselves and allow him to get outside. That dude is dumb fast. And he aint had ****. It could all be so simple

Been pretty amazing to see us walk the line of being aggressive but also disciplined

Not sure we’ve had what I would consider a “bust” in run defense even though we’ve faced two elite running backs and QBs that are a huge pain in the ***

Irs crazy to watch. And i finally get to see it in person when i get home off the road next week. Just bought my Louisville tickets. Gonna tell dispatch, dont send me no bull**** going to Oregon or California. Keep me right here in the midwest and south, then back to Florida by thursday.

I think even us are underrating what we have done against the schedule. Cause in years past, we would have face these teams after starting with like 3 cupcakes and a tough team. We been on it since August man and we been ready. Had to spend all offseason arguing with ND man telling me we won our games because of Cam alone

Yall done now?

Carr 11 carries 16 yards
Brown 13 carries 2 yards
Lagway 8 carries -8 yards
Castellanos 16 carries 56 yards

48 carries 66 yards rushing by QBs against us this year
did you include sack yardage?

also, timeliness of the runs with carr ...

but your spot on with everyone else ...

Does Louisville have any of those shifty *** slot *****? If not I’d guess press man since they will try and get the ball out quickly

We can get home with the front 4 which changes everything from last year
Caullin Lacy in the slot. He was a 1300 yard guy at South Alabama in 2023. Not been anything like that at Louisville yet but he's good.

Im praying that Corey sees a path to having a dominant defense every year here and he can pull a Kirby smart, Dan lanning and wait for the right job to open

Also it’s still early. We will see how the defense finishes off the season

Definitely a breath of fresh air this year

For the sake of reference from repeat match-ups

Byrum Brown in 2024: 14 carries (4 sacks given up) for 27 yards
*i dont remember how many yards were lost from sacks and I dont really feel like looking that deep..his longest run was 6 yards though*

Tommy Castellanos in 2023: 19 carries (2 sacks given up) for 130 yards *longest run of 21 yds*
