“Miami survives scare “

I would love that, but we're not making the ACCCG - too many teams have squeaked out wins (in an unbalanced schedule).

Shout out to the morons at the ACC for creating a scenario for UVA to back in to the ACCCG.

Their loss to NC State doesn't count against them.

Eliminate them, and you have a win and you're in scenario.

Mentioned this a few times, and some posters thought it was a good idea for the conference to allow it.

Not surprised.

P2 invitational. As long as miami is in ACC, miami cannot afford to have 2 conference losses most years and must play top 10 OOC schedules just to absorb 1 Loss if they're not an ACC champ. This is what happens when your conference has 0 leadership and signs away all power to 2 conferences who only let you sit at the table to not get sued and for congressional support. Miami can only blame itself for continuing to fall into the same trap that has plagued it for decades twice this year. Until mario fixes that, we'll be first team out on selection sunday most years.

It's such a poorly run conference.

You need an advanced mathematics degree to work out who should be playing in the ACCCG. Go back to Divisions so you play common opponents. It's not that hard.

The ACC feels like a perfect snapshot of everything wrong with modern college football—biased, broken, and fundamentally flawed. It always has been.

I’ve been a fan for decades and have stuck through every storm, but something about this situation feels different. Maybe it’s how brazen they are now. It’s like they’re saying, “We don’t care—deal with it,” and laughing while they do.

I just don’t see how this model survives long-term. Something has to give, and I think it’ll be the fans who finally check out. That’s the first domino.

For what it’s worth, I’ve already decided not to renew my season tickets next year. We hardly play anyone besides the Noles, and our OOC schedule is weak and probably isn’t getting better.

The propaganda from all the talking heads working overtime at espn. From riddick, Joey Galloway and now this
We wanted AGAIN to put the games in the referees hands , we lose focus constantly.

Like the unsportsmanlike conduct call which we DESERVED .

Losing focus will bite us again in bigger games coming.

We do not have a championship teams focus, we think we do but it’s proven NOT .

It’s November,Miami usually collapses in November. I’ll take a 3 score win on the road against one of our rivals late in the season. Miami got up to play this game

One last point, until miami changes its philosophy on offense you will constantly allow lesser teams to stay in games and give a chance for officiating or freak plays to turn a game on its head. Dominating TOP shouldn't outweigh dominating on scoreboard

This was Miami’s scariest moment of the 2nd half. 98% win probability. By ESPN’s own metrics. Good stuff.

incorrecto mi amigo, fizikool points on our internal grading system >>>> all that other ****.

Well unfortunately Syracuse didn't play their Lacrosse Freshman scholarship player at QB against us and lay down and die.

We've won 3 games in convincing manner since we last lost.

Winning is hard. If both teams are trying, doubling them up is domination.
Agreed on the first part.

Convincing and dominating is not the same. No question we were the better team.

Doubling does not automatically mean domination. It’s funny when we use opposing teams garbage time tds to make us feel better, but when we score a garbage time td to make the score look better, we act like it’s not the same and ppl don’t notice.

ESPN scroll Utah rallies to beat KSU

Smh
New Headline:

Excluding a handful of plays where KState racked up over 350 yards of offense, Utah's dominant defense held Kstate and Johnson to only 150 yards en route to a stunning last-minute win.
Already figured that was going to happen. Not a single mention of "style points" in that dogfight against Kstate

i said on another thread ... they stopped playing to win ... they played to keep from getting blown out ... it's a terrible state of football if another team "wins" because they kept it within 3 scores at their house
On a separate note I’m still not over the times that Va Tech beat us in the 1990s and 2000s. I know we have won five straight at this point…it needs to get to around fifty straight before I feel some semblance of balance being restored.

100%?

Not 90 or even 99%?

No other factors like interceptions, drops or horrible, borderline criminal officiating contributed even 1%?
Head of the snake. Has always been on the head coach. Scapegoatio should be no different in Year 4.
