“Idle Teams Can Move”

Not if they win!!!

If they lose.

Putting them ahead of and now allows them to keep them by moving them to 10 if they lose.

They had no reason to do that because ND is independent and nothing changes for them from a conference championship game.

Why was Bama not ahead of ND before this week? Think about it!

That was not an impressive win by Bama this weekend. The committee knows Bama is vulnerable. They are a wounded SEC animal and by elevating them over ND for no reason proves that they are protecting Alabama.

How can you not see this?

They aren’t moving ND down to compare them to us.

Maybe in the end they take Miami over ND but the odds of that are nearly nil.

But a 3 loss Bama, they would open themselves up to even worse situation if Bama loses and they leave them at 10 over Miami.
I understand your point. I think Bama wins. BYU loses. We’re in over ND

Perfect scenario, bama wins and Texas tech wins. Head to head comes into play
No!!!

You can already do the head to head. There no more games!!!

All of the metrics are already out and they aren’t improving except for maybe Miami if Bama lost as the #10 team because of the common opponent.

Don't buy into the bull**** that they must be ranked next to each other.

I’m just saying based on the
Committees idiotic logic

I think they’ve been kicking the can down the road expecting Miami to pull a Miami but we didn’t. Now they’re just hoping for a BYU win to make it easy on them. They’d also prefer anything to keep Miami from ND. But I believe Clay Travis is correct . They’ll be forced to to do it next week if everything breaks our way.

If that scenario plays out, I am sorry, but I don’t think we are in.

IMO, they hope would be for Miami and Nd in together.

The committee person lying that the Bama win was good is ludicrous.

ND got the final spot.

They are protecting Bama as best they can.

If BYU wins and Bama wins, ND is out. If BYU wins and Bama loses, they will keep ND.

Let’s ******* go Texas Tech. Don’t ruin this for us.

If we’re right next to ND, they will honor the head to head. They didn’t do it this week because it would have meant we jumped BYU, which would have been a bad look. They are waiting for BYU to lose.

If it comes down to that final spot, and it’s us vs. ND, they will put us in. THIS WAS ABOUT AS GOOD OF A RESULT AS WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR TONIGHT! I believe we’re in if BYU loses.

Rooting guide for this weekend:

Texas Tech over BYU. Hope it’s a beat down.

Bama over UGA. Would prevent ND from moving up with a Bama loss.

UNLV over Boise. Hurts ND’s strength of schedule.

Duke over Virginia. No ACC teams get in, which helps our case.

So for things to break our way, what are you saying?

Bama and BYU wins?

I am of the opinion that a Bama and BYU loss is best case scenario for us especially because of the common opponent is FSU with Bama.

I don’t believe the committee will take Miami over ND. Obviously that is the most obvious scenario for putting us in.

Bama has to win. UGA won’t fall enough to slip behind ND. They will BOTH remain above ND.

BYU loses — now there is zero daylight between us and ND.

At that point, it’s just us vs. them. Head to head has to matter.

We will be in.
