It’s apparent a lot of posters don’t understand this kids potential. Dude was 43-0 in high and a National Champion. Played his best football in the biggest games against the best competition in the nation. This is a no brainer. Do what it takes to get this kid!!

From what it sounds like, when Williams saw that he wasn’t going to get an opportunity to compete, he mentally quit and did work to improve. Plus you have to understand that none of the coaches were receiving any real instruction with Jon Richt as the Qb coach!

There is no waiting to see. Perry is terrible and doesn’t have the work ethic or maturity to improve. I will be amazed if he is still on the team by the time training camp roles around.

You also have to remember that there have been a lot of coaching changes since Martell went to OSU. His primary recruiter and former OC Tim Beck is gone and there are new people in charge. If you don’t think Martell is a significant upgrade over what we have now, you are kidding yourself.
