But I agree with the sentiment of some other posters, no idea why we're getting on Macho. No insider can predict truly what these kids do. It happens to everyone as kids are just fickle.

I'm not going to fault the defensive staff. But Richt and his offensive staff/scheme/whatever have cost us moving to the next step as a program. We have the #1/#2 defense in the country. That has to be appealing for any kid on that side of the ball. G-Willis looks like he could sneak in as a...

His name only sells now because others are selling his name for him. He (Kool) didn't have that luxury here because he needed to actually recruit at Miami. At Bama, they have 300 people that recruit (I'm embellishing).

If our DT class is finished (or this is what we end up). It's a catastrophic failure of epic proportions. BI was meant to be a guy that could come in day 1 and get some PT and help bridge the gap while the other 3 get acclimated and develop.

Bama does this to everyone unfortunately.

Think about this statement and what I just said.

What are you going to do? Tell him you don't have a spot for an elite DE? You don't strong arm talent like Bogle. But I'm still all in on Weaver and hope he comes in. Summerall I feel is all UF. We need 4 DEs and 4 DTs this class. We have 3 DTs, where I feel Holley's the only one that could...

Yup. I now no longer pencil him in the class. Have that feeling he's holding out for that Bama offer. It was mentioned earlier this cycle.

Staff better have backup options at DT. We need 4 this cycle. Brissett (spelling?) needs S&C and to gain more strength. Munoz is in a similar boat as he strikes me as a kid that'll be solid in about year 3. Both need RS.

Losses only play a fraction into recruiting. Oregon has a highly rated class, yet they have an inexplicable loss to Stanford and was down big to Washington State.

I'm not going to blame the UVA loss for recruiting losses on the defensive side of the ball. We have a top 2 defense in the country and play an aggressive scheme. If this was the offensive side of the ball, then I'd agree.

Slightly unrelated, but it's why I laugh at the Leach bandwagon when they say "Which SF athlete wouldn't want to play in the number 1 offense (Leach's scheme)?" Well, Diaz has the #1/#2 defense in the nation and our d-linemen feast. We have ample playing time available at DT next year, yet we...

I'd have to imagine there's no one this stupid. That would without a doubt eclipse the Jobe situation.

Nothing weird about it. Silent commits aren't really a thing. Any true recruiting vet knows this.

Yeah, I wouldn't even bother with Smith. Only way he's showing interest is to just troll Richt and Miami.

I never bought into the silent commit BS. Same thing happens every cycle. Ingraham and Neal are our two most important recruits left this cycle, and they're probably going to Tuscaloosa.
