The lack of adjustments today was super concerning. We were getting shredded in man and from what I could see on the TV broadcast, Steele refused to really mix in any zone. Middle Tennessee also had their QB scramble for what felt like five first downs. There was no contain.

I did say B-, not F. He’ll have his good moments (last week) but he’ll also have some enormous disasters like today. We could’ve done better.

Probably because it was an 11th hour, desperation hire. I don’t blame Cribby or Brooklyn. They likely didn’t hear anything anything because there was nothing to hear, up until very recently.

He could’ve been retained. He wasn’t. And then he was out of work for a year. When he returned, his best job offer (before Mario came begging) was Maryland. If he was so good at Auburn, why weren’t the big programs beating down the door to hire him once he became available?
