    Gore never, ever had "super" speed. No faster than 4.5 including his freshman year. We've had loads of RBs faster than him, but perhaps none better - especially if he had 2 knees. Or even 1.

    And Bentley was a walk-on. Probably the first RB we got from Immokalee. I agree that Edge was probably the best and most well-rounded RB at Miami - and my favorite, too. I think a healthy Gore would've made a really strong case for best all around. Unfortunately, we'll never know. But...

    Cooper did not have much speed - he just moved his arms a lot. He was clearly slower than a Miami RB. He was okay, nothing more.
