the part people struggle with is when the statement said they cost us a 5 star. That means we had him locked up and it’s tough to believe that can happen. I don’t doubt for one second local reporters have messed multiple recruitments up while we were working on someone behind the scenes though.

Man… people just dismissing FSU just because. Same things were said regarding them and Hykeem. Multiple people have said that he really likes FSU. They are a threat, plain and simple.

I think he will separate with ease at the next level. Like I said, not a 5 star blazer but he has more than adequate speed and great quickness. I think most just had the wrong idea of what he was... He was a top 15 player initially and when you see that and the fact that he is 5'11 you will...

I agree, but just to be clear why he has that rating is because when the lights come on in the biggest situations he delivers. Also it’s not his speed that is his best trait, it’s his ability to make acrobatic catches. I think he is a high 4 star in the top 50 range but not a 5.

It’s an easy sales pitch right now though. They were loaded previously and all those guys got drafted in Olave, Garret, JNS and soon to be Harrison Jr. Even the guy that couldn’t break in J Williams went to Bama and went first round. Easy sell that if you are good enough you will get noticed...

Big fan of the safety idea. Use him like FSU did Ramsey and move him all over the field. I believe too often players that would make good WRs because of hands and ball skills get pigeonholed into CBs, when they could do serious serious damage at safety at the college level.

Sounds like he wants taint but doesn’t have a green light yet.

A more talented Herb Waters is pretty **** good.
