    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Think they should lose 3-4. Their biggest thing is gonna be will Fromm continue to develop and/or Fields takes the job. Like you said they lost way too much but CBS will handle them with kid gloves either way.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

I’m done defending Kirby in this thread, fvck UGA but sometimes you guys seriously can’t look at things without your orange and green glasses on.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

That’s fair, but the question was why is UGA recruiting at such a high level, and bags were given as the sole reason. I said that wasn’t the only reason and that while the sample size was small, there was a bunch there to suggest Smart knew what he was doing. I jumped into this thread today...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Are you trying to get me to say that bags aren’t involved? If that’s the case you haven’t paid attention to what I’m saying. It’s a combination of things. UGA and it’s boosters are ready to spend and spend big, Kirby has the blueprint from the GOAT and appears to be a competent CEO, is why...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

He should definitely be held accountable for his first year. It seems he held himself accountable and went out and almost won the MNC. The improvements from year 1 to 2 were impressive. Now I agree, let’s see what he does going forward because a two year sample is small, but the improvement...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

I agree that you wait and see on Smart but based on what’s there, if our coach did what Smart did his second year, your tune would be much different. Smart could end up like Muschamp who showed promise at first with UF. Sure, but UGA sucked the last year under Richt, struggled Smart’s first...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Some of it has to do with what Rell said in his post, some of it has to do with money being thrown around, and the current enemy UGA did actually win last year. They made to the final game and lost in overtime.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Never said that. This is a multi layered discussion and Tyson probably goes to UGA even if they lose three and we had only lost one. My point was solely that we havent won yet. I don’t care if we won 10 and almost 11 @orange&green84, we lost our last three and by the standards we want to get...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Losing three in a row to close out the season isn’t winning though. We have yet to have a Miami caliber season in nearly a decade and a half.

    Bravo good sir, excellent post.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Whatever, this sucks but there is still enough talent to keep stocking the cupboard. We are a year away from really competing with the big boys, we need to break into the elite ranks and hopefully we can land some of these elite DBs. We obviously don’t have the cash to throw around, so winning...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

That’s fine, my point was that we weren’t supposed to win that game like 86 and 02. If we win that game, 94 becomes Nebraksa’s 86 and 02. We already did it once to them in 83.

Those numbers are off cause of the number they signed.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

That’s fine but that was a game that Nebraska was losing not us winning, similar to 86 and 02 for us. Luckily for them, they pulled out the game, a game they were supposed to win. We were overmatched and had no chance with Costa. That over throw where he missed the wide open receiver would...

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

They did but that still was enough for them to keep it that close. We weren’t prepared, plain and simple. We knew they had an elite defense and a patch work offense and we still let them hang around. We have two major blemishes and MNCs left on the table in 86 and 02.

This has to be our strategy also, the difference being we don't have Clemson bags, but we do have the city of Miami.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

I don’t recall Muschamp recruiting anywhere near this level. Just sayin. I just don’t think UGA is going away. Although, Muschamp had an impressive team that first year and after that did **** the bed, so maybe.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Well the problem with TS as opposed TC from last cycle is that he is showing heavy interest.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

I’d wish these kids were just straight up with our staff. If TS is gone, just let the staff know so we can adjust.

    Tyrique Stevenson Visits Miami... Again

Kids are getting paid, there is n doubt abut that but your numbers seem exuberant. Sure Dalvin probably got upwards of 300-500k total which is crazy money, but not 2 mil.
