Until Miami is more about football than they are social media, talking and gimmicks, it's going to be tough to beat elite teams that eat, breathe and live football like the Clemsons and Bamas of the world.
They have much better coaching, a better scheme and better fundamentals.
Their LBs are tougher, they blitz better and they are relentless. Same with the Dline.
Their back 7 tackles in space.
Overload blitzes work every time too because we don't know how to slide protection.
Crash the DE/OLB on zone reads bc they are slow developing and will hit.
I've watching him not block anyone a few times through the season. I've seen it with other OL too. It's like our zone scheme is ONLY to block a guy if someone is in your zone, otherwise stand there. I don't get it. Where's the double team and then climbing to the 2nd level?
But he can play LBs with the quicks and instincts to beat guys to the edge.
McCloud rarely does (he'll surprise you once in a while), Jennings never does.
I said it earlier - i'd love to see more Harvey on run downs over Roche. Roche is really bad setting edges and ducks inside a lot. He's not a DE. He's a rush specialist.
