The grants I got that last year are the only reason i was able to finish. They're the reason i continue to donate. It's nice to be able to repay UM because they've done a lot for me.

That's definitely the reason. My question is why those doors open for an Ivy league degree. Personally, I went to UM as a transfer student on my company's dime. They offered a CIS degree in the business school whereas the state schools had only computer science. I only had to pay for one year...

Is the prestige of these schools worth the cost? From a purely functional education perspective what do they teach that other schools don't?

The issue with Harvard is that the rejected Asians have been rejected because of a "personal rating". Would anyone tolerate that if they were black?

When was the last time a politician didn't hide their transcripts? When was the last time attending an Ivy wasn't a requirement for president? People say they aren't elitists, but they won't vote for someone without a pedigree.

Don't forget Harvard up north doing what they can to keep the Asians out.

Apparently it also includes USC, Stanford, Yale, Georgetown, Wake Forest, University of Texas, and University of San Diego. Forty cases so far. So when celebrities try to tell you the system is stacked in favor of the rich, they mean by them, illegally.
