    USC and UCLA to B1G

The thing we have to remember with the ACCs hail mary is that if ND does decide to join the ACC, they are going to throw their weight around and force other acc teams to bend the knee in gratitude for saving the conference. I say **** no to that.

They are going to form the BigNoOneWatchesUs conference.

    USC and UCLA to B1G

I've had to recharge my phone three times today because I've been refreshing so many times waiting for the announcement that UM is either joining the B1G or SEC.

In another segment he was talking about ND, and said that the reason ND wasnt affiliated with the B1G to begin with is that ND hates the B1G. Some bad blood that goes back to before he was born (so all the way back to the 19th century). Possible ND would rather join the SEC.

I wouldnt doubt he's under investigation because the ncaa has a hard on for UM. I also think Ruiz knew the NCAA would put a target on his back, and he made sure everything he's doing is legal. I also have a feeling that if UM gets a SEC invite, this will suddenly go away.

    USC and UCLA to B1G

Crazy, isn't it? A couple years ago the Finebaums of the world were calling UM a dumpster fire with zero hope of ever being competitive again. A huge percentage of posters said UM wasnt a national brand anymore and no conference would be interested. Turns out now we are one of the most...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

I can't believe Finebum (no relation) had nice things to say about UM

    USC and UCLA to B1G

If true, then I think they will give the ACC one last chance for a conference saving hail mary. With so many teams in the P2, there won't be room for ND on anyones schedule. ND will be punished for not playing in a conference even if the playoffs expand. NDs NBC contract ends in 2025...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

You are probably right. One possibility most of us are discounting because of how horrible ACC leadership has been is ACC expansion. With the super B1G and SEC, who is going to have room on the schedule for Notre Dame? I think they have to join a conference, and they can't join a conference...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

As you know, Espn owns both the ACC and SEC. The ACC espn deal is heavily, heavily tilted in Espns favor. SEC teams are getting a much larger cut than the acc teams. If all the acc teams had a chance of getting a better deal, I think they'd dump the conference. The key is finding every team...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

Its an espn problem. Good news is that Disney is hemorrhaging money right now and I think they'd love to dump the acc deal, which hasn't given them the revenue they thought they'd get. Hypothetically, let's say Radakovich had a chat with his Clemson counterpart, and both went to talk with The...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

A couple of ways to break it. First the realistic way: UM (or preferably several ACC schools) announces in the next few weeks it is in talks to leave the conference. Doesn't even have to be true. If UM says it is planning to leave for the B1G, the SEC may make a counter offer (if announce...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

SEC has garbage academics, so strongly suspect UM leadership would lean B1G. B1G membership also gives a school access to 10 billion (with a B) in research grants. More at play than sports. I also think SEC refs would make us wish Terry Porter was officiating games. In terms of SEC getting a...

B1G all the way. Always thought a UM USC showdown every couple of years would be fun.
